A nice offensive explosion. Nice start to Spring
It's scary to think what this lineup could do once Derrek Lee is in there and healthy.

This club could do some serious damage in the division this season. The so called experts are picking them to finish fourth or last again so the pressure may not be there and they could sneak up on the Rays and Yankees.

Once again today's game is nowhere to be seen on TV... what's the point of having MASN if they aren't going to air the O's games? All they have during that slot is ESPNews, that already has its own channel!

3-0, lively bats, good pitching. Is it too soon to get our hopes up?

Yeup. I mean, the team has looked great so far and it's destined to improve its record and possibly go above .500 but it's only Match and we haven't played against the likes of Red Sox and Yankees. I rate Spring Training a little higher than NFL Preseason games simply because of the fact that teams have a full month of games but we have seen a lot of teams thrive during March and then struggle when it matters most. Still, I can't deny I've been impressed and I'm looking forward to another Orioles season, hopefully with something to cheer for in the end.

Britton looked pretty good last night against the Yanks... too bad the offense decided to take a nap... is Mark Reynolds really that slow?

It looked to me like he's gained some weight.

Yup.

P.S. I saw that B-Rob had back spasms today and may miss tomorrow's game. I hope it wasn't a result of that bone-headed head-first slide into first base during the Yankees game! <_<

I liked the hustle but it wasn't smart, especially with all the injuries he's dealt with going back to last year.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the hustle, that's all fine and dandy, but as you mentioned, his back issues are still in recent memory and that's just a dumb play in a meaningless spring training game... that $10M per year contract is looking worse and worse.

At least it was only for 4 years. Do you know who's his backup this year?

Looks like Harris or Izzy right now. We're in trouble if he goes down for any extended period.

The offense lit it up tonight. Way to answer back having been shut out twice by the Twins in as many games this Spring Training!

I really hope BRob can play an entire season. The team was completely different after he came back last season. What about Andino as a backup? I seem to remember seeing some nice flashes from him last year.

Two O's games have been aired: 1 on MASN and 1 on MLB Network... we have scored a combined 1 run in those games lol.

Why doesn't MASN re-air the good games like yesterday's drubbing of the Twins? I don't understand.

B-Rob's back apparently isn't responding to treatment or anything. It's disappointing how fragile he is, and I fear he's headed for another trip to the DL.

I'd sit him for a month or two. Getting off to a quick start is nice but risking Brian's short-term, and really, long-term health wouldn't be wise.

Well with no Football, let's hope the O's improved so we still have some winning team to cheer for.

With a little work defensively, this Ryan Adams kid could be the future at 2B. He's tearing the cover off the ball.

My gosh.. Is Fox for real? He now has seven homers with today's two and leads the league.
Fox better make this club over Tatum... not only is he a better hitter, but he can play multiple positions.
