There's no reason we shouldn't break .500 this year. With this being Buck's first spring training as coach, it could take us to great heights this year.

Predictions? Will we finally break .500?
Hell yeah they will break 500, I got em getting their first winning season since what 97?? They will be the ones to shake up the A.L. East this season just like the Rays did a season or two ago. I got much faith in this season O's....Young pitching will hopefully be on point and we all know what them bats have the capability to do. Keep em all fresh Buck and lets go do the damn thing my man!!

Buck Showalter took the team out to a movie theater after practice. Apparently he set up a 12 minute highlight package for the team showing how they have the talent but just to pull it in for the team. He apparently did this also for the Wankees and the Rangers. I like it.

This team could have lost 120 games easy last year without him becoming Mgr. The sad thing is he was not allowed to stick around to get the full credit for the success of the Yanks,Rangers and D-Backs.

Don't know with PIT playing a split squad game. Not listed on MLB.TV schedule. Maybe MLB Gameday Audio?

O's looked good today, beating the Pirates 6-4: Bergy pitched 2 scoreless innings and Reimold had a HR and 3 walks. Vladdy went 2-3 with an RBI. Reynolds went 0-3 with a K.

It would be nice if Reimold forced his way onto the field this season.
Agreed. It would seem that he's finally healthy for a change too... last year he was battling that Achilles tendon of his.

I'm trying to figure out why the O's first game at the new stadium isn't being aired on MASN this afternoon... makes no sense to me.

Best of all, it came against an established major league pitcher.

Here's a good article on the shellacking. Link

Oh yeah baby the O's will definitely have some serious offense this season. Alot of going yard today and jumping out on the Rays by four runs to get it started. Nick went yard twice, Vlad went yard (no surprise there) Fox and Jones both went yard as well. Guthrie looked great as well, hopefully having the faith in our young guns from the farm will pay off as well. Now if these guys can go out and pitch consistent and keep the runs down, there should be no way the O's wont have a winning season this year FINALLY!!
