Reynaldo Hill

Ravens worked out former Tennessee Titan starting Cornerback Reynaldo Hill. Reynaldo hasn't played a game since 2008...

I am sure this is just a "kicking the tires" thing but thought I would repost it.

EDIT: Interesting tidbit of information, he went to University of Florida but not when Teryl Austin was there. Just to shoot down that speculation.

This takes me back to the pre-season when some, including myself, were trying to justify what Travis Fisher could do for this team.

HA, good times. Or Walt Harris, Drew Bennett, etc the past few season.

Hill's still in his NFL prime, 28 years old, but I don't know if he'd be an upgrade over the corners we have now. He'd definitely be cheap, though. Could be a dynamic returner, though, he did both kicks and punts in college and was pretty successful but, oddly, not in the NFL...

What is with this team and former Titan CB's

The previous two worked out pretty well. Why not try again? lol

Rolle and Carr I remember were both Titans and they worked out well. But I remember someone else also, I am not sure if he was only an offseason member or how long ago but I am fairly positive. As long as it is not Finnegan though I'm fine lol

Drew Bennett, thanks berad for unknowingly helping me lol. I guess this team really thinks highly of the CB's that Fisher gets/develops. He was a dback coach.

Geez, I'm so tired of kicking the tires on these old treads. The last thing we need is more vets so the team can neglect the youth. Out with Prince Miller in with an old guy!

Packers played with a lot of youth and developed them while they played and they win the SB with that same talent. We on the other hand, and this is just my opinion stimy our young talent. I say put them out there let them learn on the job show a little confidence in them. It's crazy to me we draft guys and never hear from them. Either these guy's aren't good enough to play if so then FO needs to get better scouts and or draft better.

We don't need any old vets anymore.. we need younger. Draft a corner (im sure they will) and develop him. See what new england did this year? their CB was a BEAST from the draft... we dont need any more stallworths!!

McCourty would've been a great pick last year. If we only knew what we know now.

I'm all for the youth movement but, I want to see them play as well. The hard part is the balancing of the youth infused with the veterans and maintaining the teams high level of play. I really hope the NFL expands the game day rosters this year to allow an opportunity for some of these young guys to get some PT.

We're like PETA, saving the old horses from the glue factory.

And I read that Hill lost his nickel and dime roles with the Titans to Eric King and Chris Carr... the old Chris Carr, before he came to us and had a breakout season. Hmmmmm....

We ought to keep the wheels churning especially in the NFL... the coaches definitely know if someone is going to work out or not. But how, unless we give them a try out? Remembetr Chuck Pagano was our secondary coach and now our D Coordinator... he sure knows what he is looking for don't you think?
