I have to agree with you there Blood. It just mystifies me that the team always seams to want players to adapt to their needs instead of utilizing them at the positions best suited for their play. I understand and respect the value in players knowing other positions but feel the team goes overboard at times and in certain situations. Then, it seems, the players never make it back to their original positions that the team drafted them for in the first place.

I agree with that statement but that had alot to do with Mattison. Its just like Cam you have to understand where an how to play your players. I thikn with our new DC we will see a difference not only in style of play but also usage of the players.

Im predicting a rough start but a great ending if only the offense is fixed we will be very dangerous.

James Harrison is built like a lead ball. The guy is extremely agile for his weight (his stature helps that department), hes quick and a load when it comes to strength. So do Jameel a favor and not compare him. Also Dumervil is like 265 5'11" with an elite background as a passrusher in college. Jameel didnt even get drafted so dont expect the same...

The ravens need to sign mathias kiwinuka a hybrid de and olb which is what u need in a 3-4 at olb.He is a better pass rusher than everyone on our team except suggs.kiwinuka has experience in pass rush and coverage by playin both positions.the guy is a beast but dont get to play cause 2 of the best DE in the leauge are on the same team.he had 4 sacks 1ff and only played in 3 games and only started one.6ft 5in 265 pounds. only downside is he got injured last year. it will only be his 6th year in the leauge next year.

I would definitely approve if we go after Kiwanuka. He definitely has the potential to be a force in the league if he gets the chance to start somewhere.

On-topic, I don't like McClain at ILB as much as I do Ellerbe so I think trying him out at OLB would make a lot of sense. Coverage has never been McClain's strong suit anyways so why not let him rush the passer and see what he can do?

Yea, I been saying this, Jamal is big enough and athletic enough to play OLB plus I'm pretty sure he would be solid vs the run and he is decent at dropping back in coverage as he has shown playing ILB many times. I think its time to see JJ playing time decrease and we need to work someone else in over there like Jamal.
