Power Line Adapter Vs Range Extender Vs Bridging

5 posts in this topic

Alright, here goes....

I have a theater room in the basement, with my office and router on my top floor (4 story house, well technically its a quad level), therefore I get a very poor signal at the theater equipment.

Do you IT guys recommend a power line adapter (send my internet through my houses electrical wiring), range extender (or two) or somehow trying to bridge another wireless router into my exsisting network?

Keep price, time and signal quality in mind....thanks fellas!

It seems like a question that would be worthwhile to register to ask. Id also imagine with that much space and technology you might have more questions down the road so that makes it even more worthwhile.

Just trying to help........buddy.
