Classy. Totally classy.

I am now an Eagles fan too.

Can some one help me with a link for the original bullying video?

Couldn't find it on youtube - they might've taken it off - but here is the MSNBC coverage of it, which includes portions of the video.

That young man did nothing to merit a beating, and his mother did nothing to merit threats. Have we become so desensitized to violent images and actual violence that we would actually side against someone for doing the right thing and reporting something so insidious?

All in all, I applaud DeSean Jackson for what he did for this young man and his family. It is something we should hope for from all of the athletes we uphold.

The human condition shocks me more than it impresses me. Kids are just so damn cruel.

I lived in Long Island a bit growing up and there were so many mean, nasty kids (most of them Italian) that picked on me for no reason. Then I hit my growth spurt and never got picked on again. But stuff like this just pisses me off. At least the people who usually do this crap end up with miserable lives filled with jail time and addictions, etc.

I grew up around LI with plenty of those alpha male "I'm better than you" people. But for some reason bullying never amounted to violence, just a bunch of annoying people talking about whatever (I don't know, never really paid attention to them). I never understood why kids had to bully in "packs". Probably because they're so insecure on their own.

I saw this video yesterday or the day before. It was real touching. I say good for that kid stepping up and pressing charges, not letting those jerks get away with it. I'm someone who believes in karma and treating others the way you want to be treated. Whether these bullies get in deep trouble now or not, they'll eventually get it down the road. And kudos to DeSean for being there for him and bringing joy into his life.
