Found a neat little article from Pete Prisco who has Haloti Ngata ranked as #2 and Jared Gaither as #27 in a list of top 30 potential breakout players in the nfl this upcoming season.

Nice to see Ngata getting some respect, I feel the same way Pete.

I will agree with this 100%. Nagata will be a machine, and though Gaither might struggle at times, he is going to elevate his game at an alarming rate. Nagata will be in the Pro Bowl this year, I'd give Gaither another year or two before seeing him in Hawaii.

it's good to hear how ngata is getting recognition, considering how gregg didn't. but then again, gregg is a fourth rounder (i think ) and ngata is a 1st round pick so recognition comes from there i guess.

as for gaither, this will be his learning season, to adjust and build the communication with the rest of the line. I think he will fare well at the end of the season and he'll pick up from there the season after.
