I missed out on it, but I know folks who saw them at Lamour's in Brooklyn, NY (Small club) in the early days. I've seen Slayer there.

I actually got to see Maiden at a club in Harrisburg a few years ago. Yes, it's absolutely awesome to see bands in the small environments like that.

Watching the Big 4 DVD....awesome!

Kirk disappointed me with a comment about Metallica being the "big 1," but whatever. Despite the outrageous price of admission, I may attempt to go see them all at Yankee Stadium in September.
