In the midst of the ongoing labor strife between the NFL Players' Association and the League owners, unrestricted free agent CB Antonio Cromartie has taken the time to go on a tirade in the media, starting with an expletive-laden rant with reporters while cleaning out his locker earlier this week. Over the past couple of days, Cromartie's comments were met with harsh criticism from prominent players, including Ravens LB Ray Lewis and Cardinals DT Darnell Dockett, who urged fellow players that solidarity was the key to finding labor peace.

Either Cromartie doesn't know the meaning of the word "solidarity," or he's looking to pick a fight because he took to his [url="http://www.twitlonger.com/show/8diitn"]Twitter feed and proclaimed[/url] that he "didn't give a who about Ray Lewis or Darnell Docket talking about what I said." The drama continued when fellow free agent Matt Hasselbeck took a small Twitter jab at Cromartie with a (later deleted) tweet stating, "Somebody ask Cromartie if he knows what CBA stands for."

It's been quite the season for Cromartie, on and off the field. I knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but this is just painful.

Cromartie says some real dumb staff. The guy is so physically gifted but I guess his genes forgot to pass on a brain.
