I got the trash cans out after that.
Buddy, you just pooped and fell back in it. You made this post too soon after I saw you. Why don't you just admit that you don't have trash cans.

Nooooo! First thaw of the year for us today, a big chunk of the snow is taking a hit <_< , it's too early in the year yet for this. It's 7 degrees Celsius outside right now and smells like spring :gaah:

Yea I'm disappointed that Winter is ending so soon. It was a pretty weak winter for Marylanders. It got to 50 degrees here and 60 in a few days.

In a week and half it won't matter, I'll be in the Cayman Islands.

This is true. But for the last few years it seems like it has shifted to Dec-Jan. It use to be Feb-Mar.

I just want full time over 60 I hate cold.
Now I am hearing that Friday it could reach 70 degrees.

At this rate it might be nicer here than it will be in the Cayman Islands when I go.

Such a gorgeous day! Most of the snow should finally be gone by tonight.
That can be a plus.

I run 3 miles outside every night in shorts. And lately the ice has been brutal. Some spots of the sidewalk are ice rinks. A couple days after that snow storm I blew a wheel on a branch sticking out of the snow bank on the walkway. It was dark and hard to see. I scrapped my knee on the ice and landed on my face.

Looking forward to the disappearance of the melting and refreezing process. Makes outside running much easier.

Agreed. I want to start running, but have been reluctant due to those conditions as well. I'll still probably wait until the Spring to get that going though.

snow going bye bye. Every day, I go outside and see more of the ugly brown grass and all the dead stuff in the flower beds that we should have cleaned out before winter arrived.

Egads....unbelievable that temps around here are going to be in the 60s Friday!!!!!!! *faint* I'll take full advantage of it while it's here!!!

I saw the flower bed for the first time in a while *shudder* Its still half covered--trash that I don't know how it gets there and I found some Halloween candy  hope its good for the flowers lol

My poor dog has been going on a spot that has been cleared at the end of the deck--we piled leaves and its covered by a table--we have a Bichon, they are low to the ground and we have a space dug in the front too. We can't walk her because a lot of the neighbors don't use the pet friendly ice melt and it burns her paws.

What is funny is like 2 weeks ago it got in the 50's and I opened up but turned the heat pump off--well it was getting in the low teens at nite and I could not understand why it was so chilly upstairs--I forgot to turn it back on, I use a little pellet stove on the middle level and it did ok lol

Have to love Canada, its about plus 10 for 3 days straight and then today it hits -30 with the windchill.

And there goes our first thaw of about 3 I'm guessing.
