We have a blizzard warning for Monday night with possibly up to 20 inches.
That's sweet, can you come to Maryland and bring it with you?

Apparently they're only calling for some freezing rain/wintry mix from Monday night until Wednesday night. Which is great, because I go to the Capitals game Tuesday night and get to ride the metro on iced-over tracks. I look forward to this...

You might be okay, I didn't think it was suppose to start until Tuesday. Riding the metro during a regular day is dangerous.

You're right. Last year, the same night I went to a Caps game, a police car got stolen at the metro station we went to. Hard to decide which is more dangerous, the snow, or the people that like stealing stuff.

That, plus you have to worry about cars crashing into each other, brake failures, derailing, and operating texted while driving. DC Metro is a dangerous place, lol.

Was this Greenbelt or New Carrollton?

Ugh, I do not want the ice storm, it means another 15+ hour power outage because Pepco will wait until the last minute to have their crews ready.

New Carrolton, it's the closest station to my house, which is like 30 minutes or so.

Thanks. Those possibilities weren't in my head until now, lol.

Anything happening down in B-More yet? We're supposed to get snow/rain and icing conditions tonight and throughout tomorrow.

*Laughs* Yeah, that station has problems in their parking lot. Greenbelt has problems because we have the infamous "Springhill Lake" apartments nearby, which is a hotbed of crime.

Getting nasty looking over here too. I'm hearing rain or freezing rain, depending on where you are. I have heard nothing about snow today.

I live in a townhome, so I don't have to shovel anything. I don't have a license, so I can't really drive. I'm still in high school, so this snow actually helps me. I don't know about you guys, but I'd love for it to snow A LOT more.

Same here, only thing the town doesn't take care of is our walkway, driveway, also helps a bunch when you have a 6hp snow-blower.

Just had 3-4 inches fall last night with another 12-18 on the way
Nice. Pathetic once again here. They were calling for a wintry mix in Maryland. It did pretty much nothing. It made some spots slick but that's all.

Can a snow storm at least get me one day off of work??? I would love to finish up Uncharted.

Ice, ice, baby... the roads are fine, but my driveway was a sheet of ice, so I more or less had to slide down to get to my car

MD has the storm basically bypass it, but Dallas gets hit with enough snow and ice that most of the city shuts down?!

There is no god!

I hear that. It's a shame. I just want one day off from work because of snow. I'll go sledding, have a good youthful day.

There's not enough snow still on the ground to go sledding over the weekend?

It needs to be during a school/work day. It's not the same on the weekend.

My son and his friends went sledding Saturday. This has got to stop, Baltimore County has only 2 more snow days and we are doing a mid-June vacation,

So the shed in which my ole man kept his Vulcan the roof has collapsed because of so much snow, even the one corner started to collapse, stupid Canadian Tire metal sheds. This just gives him an excuse to build a new one in the summer.

I saw an accident (Tractor Trailer and a smaller car) on my way IN to work this afternoon. Two dead.
There is definitely a pucker factor associated with my commute home tonight. Temps are dropping as we speak.

I am sure the weather will play havoc in Dallas this week especially with more people than normal there . I was stranded there for a couple of days back in the 80's in January due to ice storms.
