I would like to ask that those people who drive cars with 4WD please stop thinking you are invincible. I've seen at least 4 SUV and Jeeps on the side of the road because they think they can drive like maniacs when it's snowing so bad you can only see less than a 100 feet in front of you.

I, for one, love snow......already been on the 4 wheeler for an hour. Last year, when we got 30 inches in December, I met Tom Matte while tooling around Glen Arm.

We got about 10 inches to a foot here in northern Delaware. I hate it. Sure, the kids have fun with it at first, and I was lucky to have had two snow days now because my professors couldn't get to campus, but there's still ice on the roads from the last snow we got. Also, because I'm taking winter classes, there's a lot of ground to make up by the end of next week.

Only 4-5 inches down here in the DC area. Unfortunately because Pepco is utterly stupid with how they manage most of their power lines, my power has been off since 8:30 last night.

I do not miss that at all..did enough shoveling back there in my day. It is sunny and low 70's in the So.Cal desert with 10%humidity and there is snow in the mountians and that's where it can stay.

I probably wouldn't mind it as much if we lived in an area that was more used to dealing with the amounts we've been getting. Our roads have been horrible and the accidents horrendous.

That said, I put my new Toro Powermax to work this morning and she did AWESOME! Even did the neighbors driveway.

Nah. When I was sick he rallied the troops to come help me and even when I wasn't sick his Son would come over to help. He's older and has a bad shoulder. I will always do his driveway for free. It's cool too because we have another neighbor who bought a snow thrower and he helps out other folks.

Was riding all day on a golf course with plenty of rolling hills and plenty of fresh powder. 6 hours of snowmobile riding in deep powder is a workout and a half.
