Tamba Hali

We've all been begging for a pass rusher to play on the opposite side of suggs, and perhaps Tamba could be that guy. He is a free Agent this year, and had 14.5 sacks on the Chiefs D. Unfortunately the chiefs have improved quite a bit so we can't play the "you will have a shot to play for a ring here in Baltimore" card, but perhaps we can play the "you will have a better chance of winning the ring here in Baltimore card". If he wanted to come to B-town for the right price I think Hali, and Suggs could be quite comparable to Woodley and Harrison (Woodley is also a free agent , but i don't think he'll be going anywhere.)

I don't really know how he plays or if he fits our defense, but I'm in favor of it cuz it's fun to say his name.

Hali and Suggs on the outside would be a lethal combo. Our defense would be brutal.

Like fly said, the Cheifs will likely re-sign him. Even if he hits the market, it would take a contract similar to the one Suggs received to bring him here. It's not happening.

well you never know, I dont know much about KC's team at the moment but I'm sure a couple of their players are due for some big pay cheques for example Jamall charles, Bowe....etc you never know. I just feel more comfortable addressing our pass rush situation via fee agency and getting a quality guy who we know will produce rather than a college guy that may require an adjustment period before he's a beast, and then Suggs will be considering retirement and we're back to square 1.

If you expect Hali to hit the market, than you should also expect Ngata to hit the market as well.

Charles signed an extension and Bowe is signed through next season too.

I looked at KC's other FAs(thanks for the site again Pu) and Hali is the only guy that will need to be paid huge money.

There are, and there are loads of comments with people saying their team should sign Ngata all over the internet.

To be fair though, if you don't follow the player's current team closely you won't know if those big players are pretty much locked up.

I blame the Raiders letting Asomugha go for the sudden influx of "We should get (Insert Pro Bowl Player's name here)".

I think getting him is less likely than Nnamdi signing here, like pointed out he is going to get a massive contract as well.

I read the Texans forum. There are a good few fans convinced their owner and front office is going to offer a big contract to Ngata and they've such a great team, Ngata is only dying to go to Houston. Where did that come from??
