Should Flacco Compete For His Job This Year?

Should the Ravens make Flacco compete for his starting position? Just a question? I still believe in Flacco, but I wonder if a little healthy completion would be a good thing for his development. It could make him a little hungrier if he had to fight for his job. Even if he got beat out for a year, maybe sitting behind the right starter could also help.

Who should compete with Joe? How about Marc? Sign Marc and tell him he gets a fair chance to beat out Joe for the starter position. Even if Marc beat out Joe, would that be bad? Marc wouldn't be the long term solution. However, who knows, Joe could fight back from the experience hungrier and wiser.
