Today's Packers Vs Bears Game

I need a little help understanding.
The Bears pulled their #1 QB Cutler because he was injured.
Their #2 QB played and they pulled him for some reason I dint know.
But then the announcers said once their #3 QB started their #2 guy would not be allowed to come back in the game.
Is that correct?
What is the reason for that rule?

I can answer all of your questions.

QB #2 was Todd Collins. He's like 80 and struggles to get the ball past 10 yards. He played when Cutler was out with a concussion against the Panthers and was horrendous. He looked that way again.

The rule is the "third-quarterback" rule. Or better known as the emergency QB rule. Haine was not on the active 45 man roster to start the game. Instead was listed as the emergency QB. Sort of like having an extra roster spot. But if you elect to go with your emergency QB, you cannot add your prior two QBs into the game. It's the rule.
