Warden is truly one of the few decent Steeler fans I know of. The fact that he says "if" shows it. The Steeler bandwagon I'm dealing with this week has them all "knowing" ring 7 is theirs. Thanks, Warden.

No need to thank me. I'm confident, but nothing gets taken for granted. We've come close to losing against teams not as good as Green Bay. I hope our experience pays off.

Some bandwagon fans don't know what it was like to wait 15+ years only to lose the SB to Dallas. Then wait another 10 for a shoddy performance, albeit a victory.

Not to mention all of those AFCCG losses.

The official color is "Golden Rod." We say gold for short. Have for decades. I can't believe you weren't in on any of the previous 19 discussions about this. lol

I think I was, I just clearly see yellow.....but I wont stir that pot again.

We just have to keep fighting and wait for our time. It's so frustrating to have the best team in the NFL over the last 6 years right in our division, two steps ahead of us because they found their franchise QB four years before us.

On the bright side, if the Steelers win the SB this season maybe they'll have one of their mysterious post-SB down years, and we can actually win the division and have a home playoff game. Of course, knowing the Ravens we'll get swept by the Browns and they'll somehow win the division, and we'll have our fourth straight wild card year.

lol. If it makes you feel any better, we've had our season ended, in our house, by the Pats, Broncos and Chargers late in the playoffs. The division thing didn't really play a role in those cases.

They look the same to me Warden. Only difference is one has a 'rod'.
Print this out, take it to DMV and see what they say about your license in that case. haha.
Also, you will never fly jets in the US Military.

Cheap Editing lol. Kid sounds "good" but I want to hear him do that when he doesn't have people editing his voice to make him sound good. Just my opinion.
The kid isn't the only one. Found another group or punch of kids doing their own "green & yellow" I gotta imagine how many will there be by SuperBowl weekend.

Hey this is my first post,

Unfortunately I'm a steelers fan :(.

Just had to butt in here and say that if you guys beat us in the Divisional round, I would have rooted for you guys all the way!

I honestly try to hate the Ravens, but I can't... Our games are always the best of the season, and our teams are very similar.

Don't get me wrong, I understand many of you wanting The Pack to win (I wouldn't mind seeing them win to be honest), but you gotta love and root for AFC North football!

Anywho, after the Super Bowl I know I'll be looking forward to our 3 games next year.

GL in the draft/Next season! (don't take pouncey, thanks)

- nieco

(P.S. - frustrated with other forums, everyone seems extremely immature, decided to stop by here and see how this ends up)

P.S.S. - just previewed my post and the tone sounds like a 12 year old girl wrote it. I apologize, I'm fairly drunk.

Well, no I don't have to root for the AFN thank you very much lol The Steeler fans we have on our boards (mostly) are cool but sorry, too many in your fan base are obnoxious. Have no desire to hear about "Sevenburgh" or "we've got 7 rings how many you got" or any more Big Ben love than I already hear.

Welcome to the boards though.

Go Packers! :)

If the Packers can afford to give Mr. Rodgers some time then the Pittsburgh secondary better watch out for the rest of the neighborhood. I've watched a lot of Packers games this year (my brother is a huge fan) and every game Im more impressed. Im imagining what they would be if they had Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley all season...

Both qbs excel at extending plays, but the Packers secondary > Pittsburghs.

I'd like the Packers to win, mostly because I like Aaron Rodgers and he deserves a Superbowl after having to endure all of the Brett Favre saga and handling it the way he did.

It's Yellowrod.

You actually have to be able to differentiate between 2 different shades of baloons to fly jets in the Military?

That makes as much sense as braining your Quarterback with big rubber balls to improve his pocket awareness.

Steelers by 10 ... base score irrelevant.

I just have a feeling the Pack are going to win.

It's a check for color blindness. And it makes perfect sense.

And the color is, in fact, goldenrod.

Yeah, but this year it was the difference between a bye week and no bye week, just like in 2008. I'm not saying we would necessarily have beaten the Steelers if we had gotten the 2 seed and they had gotten the 5, but maybe we wouldn't have unraveled at home. Ray Rice's fumble and the botched snap were just so preventable, that's what kills us as fans. Mental strength is part of the game, it's a little easier at home.

It nearly happened to us. It's not so much having committed those errors, but overcoming them. Sure, the coaches need to identify and coach accordingly but Ray Rice fumbled on his 405th carry since his last one. That's amazing.

Anyway, this Steelers team is so different from the teams of the 80's, 90's and early 2000's in that they CAN overcome their mistakes and even officiating most times if they have to. That's where the Ravens need to get to if they want to beat the Steelers.

I think that secretly, you are a closet Ravens fan, and I'll bet you post more in our forums, because of the superior intelligence factor!

I respect the Ravens and I've built a pretty good relationship with some folks here. I'll grant you that I've softened a bit in my purple hatred, but it's it's mostly because of that respect I've gained. That said, I bleed black and gold and I always will.

Quick story - My Fiancee saw The Blind Side and immediately declared to me that she's a Ravens fan (to bust my chops). My immediate response? "Pack your (trash) and get the (explicative) out!"

I don't think I could ever marry an open Steelers' fan... unless she was an absolute 10.

Well good thing you wouldn't need to worry about that. But I agree. It would just be awkward and plus I wouldn't be allowed to have my 'Ravens' man cave.

Question, now we all know the thing going around about Hines Ward where he said he'll retire if the Steelers win another Super Bowl, well let's take a look at other members of the Steelers and the Packers. Who do you guys think could retire if their team wins the Super Bowl? Here's my List:

Steelers:

- Hines Ward

- Charlie Batch

- Casey Hampton(maybe)

Packers:

- Donald Driver

- Chad Clifton

- Charles Woodson(Maybe)

Perhaps Woodson? He is still playing at such a high level though.

Haha you edited your post while I was replying with his name.

I'm playing Madden and I'm starting to adjust all the rosters to get ready for April so I can create all the rookies and so I'm clearing out all the rookies on teams who don't have pictures and so as I was going through the Pack and Steelers roster I realized I forgot Woodson and I figure I add Casey Hampton for the Steelers. I'm also thinking Brett Keisel could retire too, though I don't know what he would do until Christmas since he would be a great Santa Clause! LOL
