Pro Bowl

In my opinion, the Pro Bowl reflects who had the best stats. And to be honest, I really don't care about it. I've only watched it like once or twice. And I kinda wish they did not make it before the Super Bowl. It makes it redundent for the players of the two teams going to the Super Bowl. I remember seeing some article(it also might have been on his facebook) where Anquan Boldin stated that it's nice to have all these records for receptions, but for him it's all about the ring. I'd much rather get to the Super Bowl with none of our guys making it to the Pro Bowl than have 10 or 15 of our guys make it to the pro bowl and not go to the Super Bowl. I mean I'm proud of Reed and all of our guys who have been accepted to this years pro bowl. I think it says something about how great they are, but I'm just disappointed we didn't make the Super Bowl. It's a lose/lose for the AFC this year. My bro is a Packers fan and I know I will be rooting for them in the Super Bowl. They remind me of us our Super Bowl year, only with a slightly better passing game.

Still, its neat to see players from your team selected.

But the game itself is irrelevant.

Im on the fence about the Pro Bowl and when it should be. I like it before and after the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl should be last because it is the game of all games for any sport, not just football. The Pro Bowl in my opinion is just for celebration and fun, which could be played before the Super Bowl like it is now to just have another week of consecutive football. After the Super Bowl it is more of like a celebration for another successful season and all of the players and coaches are in Hawaii having a good time.

I don't care. I say leave it at voting only. Plus with it being before the SB, the players who are playing the SB are automatically out. I just read that Eric Berry will be replacing Troy and Tamba Hali will replace Brett Keisel.

Just get rid of it and than we could play the SB sooner!

Buddy and I went in 2005...was awesome!!! Tickets were dirt cheap, friends live in Hawaii (so no cost there) and it was such a melting pot of jerseys. Cool to meet so many diverse fan bases.

The stadium was a bit in shambles and its painted an ugly light brown though.....

Oh yeah, we paid something like $60 for 45 yard line tickets.

Yea I'm lucky enough to have family that lives there, who happen to be a family of doctors lol. 60 bucks for 45 yard line seats, that's a deal and a half. Most expensive part of the would be the plane ticket no doubt.

Alexir is right, it used to be fun when they had the skill competition. I think they need to bring that back and just toss the Pro Bowl game. Though I will watch it and wear my "Cundiff" Jersey to support Billy Cundiff since he is in the game. Let's hope for a AFC win.
