Marky Mark in any role is rarely good news. The Fighter could have been a slam dunk for Oscar nominations with a good actor.

Did anyone see that brittish movie "Monsters" heard it's similar to District 9, right now I'm waiting on J.J Abrams new flick Super 8

Since I'm a Lostie. I too am looking foward to JJ's new movie.

I haven't heard of Monsters. But it made me think of "Little Monsters" with Fred Savage and Howie Mandel. What an awesome movie that was.

Was okay. Left me dizzy w/ a headaches when I left the theater. So much Action on a bouncy picture. Made me feel like I was watching a movie from a boat.

I wonder if eventually they will come out with 'Lost' the movie. I'm sure they will and it will probably suck. But I'd go see it.

Watched a little known film from 2003 called Saints and Soldiers. Not exciting or action packed and made on a low budget. But if you're a history buff like myself, then I would recommend it.

I'd love it regardless... there were rumors that LOST's finale would be shown in a full-length movie, but that didn't materialize, although a 2-hour Finale is about the same length as a movie anyways.

Still so many questions left unanswered.

At least do a spinoff like Hurly's Island. Where they sit around a campfire and argue relationship issues and drink coffee.

With your new found Valentines Day softness, perhaps you would enjoy something like Steel Magnolia's or Waiting to Exhale.

I was thinking more like 'Love Actually.' That Brit accent really hits the spot.

For a Peter Jackson movie, I was disappointed. It certainly had some cool stuff going on in it, but the pacing was off. Also Marky Mark in a serious role is rarely good news.

oh really its peter jackson hey? thats cool ill check it for sure

Yeah... he had to have emergency surgery a few weeks ago which has caused a delay in filming, obviously.

Ryan23945, I can't agree more with you about the hero movies. If I wanna see a good zero to hero movie, I'll watch the Mask with Jim Carrey. And yeah Thor looks bad. I'm looking forward to Captain America since "American" is one of my favorite adjectives to use for things I like a lot.

The Eagle SPOILER ALERT

The movie "The Eagle" was pretty horrid. It was 2nd in warrior movie letdowns(Alexander with Colin Ferrell being the worst) It started out great, but it just slowed down. And there were a few parts I thought the two characters were going to start kissing each other. My girlfriend and I were close to leaving. And the end line lead you to believe they might actually think about a sequel, but I really doubt it. I just think it was a bad exit line to try and make them look hardcore. Don't get me wrong, the acting was great, but I thought it was going to be a lot more like 300.

Yeah I don't know when Sandler started to lose it. He should've just ended it with his streak of Mr Deeds, Water Boy and Big Daddy. 50 First Dates, Click and now this. The one with him, Spade, Chris Rock, Kevin James and Rob Schneider was alright, but Rob Schneider's character was just too awkward and wrong.

Beat me to it.

Yeah Centurion wasn't great, but you can't tell me you thought the Eagle was going to be a good flick with the dancing white dude from Step Up and Billy Elliot.

Revolver is decent, Guy Richie movies are pretty good.

I recommend Sunshine as well, I honestly think Danny Boyle is the best director in the world.

Sunshine was awesome, as was Slumdog Millionaire. I do hate how zombie movies have decided to take the fast zombie thing from 28 Days Later and make it stupid.

Has anyone watched "The Crazies"? If so, was it any good?

Which Crazies? The original one was a cult classic in 1973. The one that just came out was your average run of the mill horror movie.

The new one was half bad. Its a different plot of the other typical horror movies.

The Crazies is pretty good.

Try "Book of Eli" and "The Road", the latter is really depressing though.

The Road was a good movie. But damn it made me feel like I was depressed and getting tortured. Not many 'bright' spots in the movie.

Sort of gave me the same feeling that Martyrs. Luckily it wasn't as bad. Martyrs disgusted me beyond belief.
