So i tried to watch Mechanic Resurrection, made it about 15 minutes in.  Statham has turned into the new the Steven Segal.  Its just so corny and the same story every time.

Statham is actually likeable as a person though while Steven Segal is not.

Just saw  "Split"

I am a big fan of all of M. Night Shyamalan's stuff this one is one of his better ones in my opinion.  No big surprising twist though, but well written and James McAvoy crushes his part.

Fantastic movie.

Someone didn't stay after the credits

Are you referring to the cameo?

I didn't see that as a twist.

A surprise but not a twist.

When the credits start rolling I usually whip my phone out and start Googling to see if there's an after credit scene (or two if it's a Marvel movie).

I don't really want to spell it all out but the implications of what that ending meant is much more that a cameo

Like I said, I do not consider that a twist.  I mean not like in Sixth Sense which somehow everyone now expects in all of M. Nights movies.

Sorry man. At least I didn't spoil what it was. It wasn't like the sixth sense, but it is a good twist.

Ok guys.  This thread has been getting a little slow.  So here's a challenge to you movie buffs, which most of us are in here: Make a list of your top ten movies.  No specific order, just a top ten, which will still be hard for most of us.  I find this fun because we all have different taste and it might spark a conversation about movies we have never seen or most of the time, just have forgotten.  I will add my ten tomorrow as it will take some thinking, even though i know my top three pretty easily.

are you talking about the movie "Room" or "The Room".

The Room is a masterpiece for all the wrong reasons. It's so bad, it's fantastic.

It's very hard - feels like 10 is not enough to include all the ones I enjoyed the most.

  1. The Godfather
  2. Amarcord
  3. One Flew over the Cukoo's Nest
  4. Shawshank Redemption
  5. The Marathon Family
  6. Silence of the Lambs
  7. The French Connection
  8. Pulp Fiction
  9. The Exorcist
  10. The Sting

Now the theme song for the sting is stuck in my head.

All of which are fantastic movies, but not my all time favorites.
