That's weird. Idris Elba usually impresses in everything he's in. He's the bad guy in the new Star Trek movie which I just got tickets for.

I didn't even realize he was in that.

"World's Greatest Dad" Staring Robin Williams.

A twisted movie for sure.

An unpopular,  disliked school boy accidentally hangs himself while pleasureing himself. His Dad Robin Williams finds him and does not want this to be the condition he is found, rearranges the body to make it look like a suicide and writes a note.

Initially it seems all but one person at school cares until the very uncharastic suicide note ( penned by his Dad ) goes public and the school sees him for for something he is not, and mourns the loss. Eventually the false character Williams creates takes on a life all its own and things get really out of hand.

I am not sure what I really think of this movie. It's definitely sad, dark and twisted. It is well written  ( by Bobcat Golthwait surprisingly) character development and acting is fantastic.   I caught myself relating to Williams character, in that, if my kid were to go before me, is THIS, how I would want my kid to rembered?  It is a challenging movie about being accepting as people and as parents.

Well, his performance wasn't the problem, I just didn't really like the movie.

I seen the movie a couple years ago and loved it.  I thought the kid who played the son did a phenomenal job and found him hilarious at the beginning.  Im going to have to watch it again as its been quite some time.  On another note, im sad that I will never get to see him do stand up, ive only seen Dave Chappelle and Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams was next on my list.

Really good movie. I liked it.

Darling and Holidays on Netflix were awful. I think I made it through 30 minutes in each before I just gave up. This hipster-ambient-aura crap that's going on nowadays is getting annoying.

Don't know if it was mentioned, but I just saw the trailer for the new King Kong movie starring Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman.

Seriously, how many times are they going to do a King Kong movie?  I'm wondering how does another king kong script even get pass the desk of the secretary at the movie studios.

All about the money honey. Hollywood just doesn't care anymore, and neither does Sam L., unless he's in a Tarantino flick.

The Justice League trailer looks exactly like something I left in the toilet this morning.

Water? Understandable. It does have aquaman in it :P.

It looked a hell of a lot better than any of the batman v. Superman trailers. So I'm holding out hope. Maybe foolishly, but I am.

Also........... About to marathon the Bourne trilogy. The fourth one as we all know doesn't count. I'm very excited for the new one as I've read all the original books. Ultimatum is a great spy flick.

The beginning of the "Nerve" trailer has that video of the ravens fan who climbed to the top of a tower

Does Snyder have any kind of association with the film? If so, run away. Only product of his I've ever liked was The Dawn of The Dead remake though I think he was just the producer.

Never was a fan of Bourne. Found it far too boring, plus I'm not a Damon kind of guy. I'm really hard on movies. My friends hate me for that.

It's a Snyder movie with Affleck's oversight(whom I'm a massive fan of as a director. He's an executive producer) and the oversight of the head of DC comics. So it's most likely doomed yes, but it shouldn't be as bad as most of Snyder's movies.

Who's everyones favorite director? Mine is QT and it isn't even close...

QT is very good, among my favorites. Other two are probably MS and Nolan. Though Zemeckis has directed some of my favorite movies.

I also really like those guys. Zemeckis is sneaky. He takes a hiatus and then comes back with something amazing like Flight. No DC movie will ever top what Nolan was able to create with his trilogy, and MS is always money especially when he signs up with Leo.

Anybody know of any good, and at least fairly accurate medieval movies or TV shows? Preferably on Netflix
