So I got to see The Man from UNCLE last night and I have to say, it was a good movie. Not great or earth shattering, but I was thouroughly entertained. I see it more as Cavill's audition tape to be James Bond and I have to say, I'd see him as a good one. He is British, so I hope he gets it.

Is he in the running? I've only heard of Idris Elba and Tom Hiddlestone being considered.

He is. Cavill got narrowly beat out by Craig a few years ago and now that he's in his thirties he's more seasoned.

I really liked that movie. Saw it at the drive in. I wasn't familiar with the old show. But as its own it's good.

I still don't know how I would feel about Elba being Bond, I love him as an actor but I just don't know.

Yea but I think he'd definitely come off as a manlier Bond than Hiddlestone. There's also been a few articles about the possibility of it becoming Jane Bond

Ill be honest, last Bond I really enjoyed was Casino Royal.  I kind of stopped caring about them, I haven't even seen Spectra, I don't even know if I plan on it.

Haven't seen that either but I heard it was one of the better one. The series really needs a reboot

The difference though is I like all of those actresses besides Melissa McCarthy and I don't like any in ID2

Yea I don't either. I think both are still gonna be bad though it seems like all those actresses' talent will be wasted on a bad movie.

I don't have an issue with Craig, just something about the series that I don't care for anymore, hopefully the reboot will bring something back.  I wouldn't mind if they tried to go retro and have the plot be back in the 60's. 

Sidenote, I was in Beverly Hills last weekend and saw the original Aston Martin DB4 I think? So sexy of a car
