haha, well point is they r all different roles, not just coasting on one as u stated

Na he most definitely plays one role.. If there wasnt for all the jason stathom's and jean claude van damme's in acting id say hopkins would be the definition of an actor who fits one specific role

but either way he kicks absolute butt in all of his films

Anyone excited for X-Men: First Class?

Saw the preview when I saw Battle LA the other night. Can't wait. I read The Uncanny X-Men comics as a kid and the movies are fantastic and really faithful for the most part. I WANT MORE GAMBIT!!!!

Geez, for anybody with Netflix there is a doozy on instant watch.

Put on "The Wild and Wonderful Whites" of West Virginia. Its a REAL documentary of a messed up WV family that is living off government disability coal mining money. Johnny Knox was one of the producers.

Its ridiculous!!!! Even more so when you realize these are real people.

The wife and I popped this on last night. Wow. When they roll up to a Taco Bell drive through after CPS took the ladies drug baby from the hospital and they see their friends through the glass and start relating the story to people who cant actually hear them.....I think I spit beer out my nose. Priceless.

just curios which role he plays over and over iyo ? i find it hard to believe that an actor of his calibur and body of work would b called type cast.

he could b the most versistile actor of all time, how many white dudes have played a black dude :229031_rofl: :229031_rofl: :229031_rofl:

Anyone excited for X-Men: First Class?

As much as I like the entire franchise, I just can't excited for First Class. I'll probably end up watching it but I don't think it'll be good.

"red dragon" is actually a remake of an 80s movie, "man hunter" it was a brutal movie, but non the less it was where hannibal was first introduced on film, michael mann directed and he usually directs wicked crime movies, like heat and public enemies, but this movie was terrible, i guess he was finding his style haha

Didn't like Gone Baby Gone, I figured out the ending 2/3rds of the way through and Casey Affleck was average, he's 10 times better in Assassination of Jesse James.

Anyone ever see the movie "Sneakers?" It's a little old, but it's really a good movie. Not one I would have thought about watching without a recommendation, but it was a really fun movie. Great cast too.

Yep and Dan Aykroyd, River Phoenix, Ben Kingsley, James Earl Jones and Mary McDonnell. It's got a little bit of everything: Comedy, Suspense, etc. and a good plot. Again, it is a little out dated in 2011. Came out in 92'. Good movie though.

Watched the directors cut of Leon: The professional. It's amazing how much they cut out, it's still one of my favorite movies.

Anyone here a Hitchcock fan?

I bought a 14 disc Hitchcock boxset for £12 (about $19) a few days ago. Haven't had the time to watch any yet though! These are the films included...

The Birds/ Family Plot/ Frenzy/ The Man Who Knew Too Much/ Marnie/ Rear Window/ Saboteur/ Shadow of a Doubt/ Topaz/ Torn Curtain/ The Trouble With Harry/ Rope/ Vertigo/ Psycho

A bargain if you ask me. :)

I mean, the plot left something to be desired, and it was simply an entertaining movie, not a world-beater by any stretch.
