I saw "I Am Number Four" this past Sunday morning ($5 at AMC for shows before Noon)... anyway, it was actually pretty good and worth seeing in theaters if you can.

I dont know, it seems a little too teen orientated in the trailer.

I fell asleep watching Inception...

My nominees would've been: Salt, Takers, Tron and The A-team.

My vote would be on The A-team, hilarious and actiony. I love it

You only thought you were asleep during Inception. :o

.....and......really? Those are your nominees? A-Team FTW? What???

Have you ever seen Idiocracy?

I refuse to pay money for any movie that is in any way affiliated with Michael Bay

Well, those nominees are not at all for all time best movies, but last year only. I left out saying for last year though, my bad.

Terry Crews was the only redeeming quality about Idiocracy (like he is with most movies) it's a weirdly disjointed and quirky social satire, but it's hard to get past the horrible production.

Anyone seen Eastern Promises?

Re watching V for Vendetta later once again. Definitely one of my favorites.

I need to watch that again. I was kind of lost the first time around, but it seemed like a good movie.

Not to get political but V for Vendetta was putting me in the mind of how governments in the world create disasters to take away more and more rights of the people. After so much taking the people will stand up and rise against the power

Even though it's not a movie, I still love the Planet Earth series. Maybe I just like watching animals with British narration.

if u like planet earth, u will like "life" its in the same vein and richard attenborough does the narration as well, blue plant was pretty much all the sea stuff from planet earth, rip off

watchin the great white eat the bird in slo mo in blu ray on my 62 tv is worth the price of the whole series haha

Terry Crews is awesome. I remember being the dad on "Everybody Hates Chris" and than I saw him in the expendables and I couldn't believe how good he is. He did the Old Spice commercial too? Wow.

Anyway, Starz is free this weekend and right now I'm watching Zombieland which is a great funny movie, anyone else see that movie?

Due Date was an exercise in tedium for me. While I like absurd humor and I enjoy most films with Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, this combination didn't work as well as it should've. The entire film was just awkward all across the board. The pacing was off, the setpieces were difficult to watch, and the humor was uneven. There weren't as many laughs as I expected. I don't recommend it at all.

I'm actually happy "The Last Airbender" received a Razzie for being the worst movie. Hopefully, it'll deter Shyamalan from further tarnishing the name of one of my favorite cartoons.

I agree with this. However, there were two scenes that made me laugh quite a bit. When Robert Downey Jr. punched the kid in the stomach, and then again when he spit in the dog's face.

So, anybody watching the awards tonight? I'm thinking The Social Network for best picture, Inception for original screenplay and Toy Story 3 for animated film.

kings speech and dido ur others

firth, bale, benning/kidman, steinfeld

director fighter/ black swan cant decide

i think films with live action like sports or dance like fighter and black swan require better directing, imo
