I couldn't help but bust out laughing when Norman Bates came out of nowhere, dressed like his mother and cackling. It wasn't supposed to be funny, but it's so cheesy today, tears were coming out of my eyes from laughing so hard. My professor shot me a look but then couldn't help cracking up himself. I had the whole class rolling and we went back to that scene and watched it twice more for laughs. :P

haha think of how scary that probably was back in the day, i feel the same way about "the birds", my mom told me she saw it as a kid and had nightmares :229031_rofl:

Saw a flick made in 1959 with Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn called "Last Train from Gun Hill", pretty good western considering the age.

I haven't seen Hurt Locker, but I've heard it was fantastic.

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't go see it in the theater.

Its allright. I'm not a fan of Renner. He just seems like the type of guy that's always trying to steal your girl. That pisses me off. Back to the movie. Things blow up, War runs through our blood, etc, etc.

Has anyone seen "Man on Fire" with Denzel Washington? Definitely my favorite movie of all time

It's one of my favorite Denzel movies.

At least Avatar didn't win

Agreed. That Fern Gully remake was soooo bad. Special effects were great but that movie blew.

Hurt Locker was above average, great acting but not worth the hype.

Heres how I rate last years Oscar nominations in order from best to worst:

A Serious Man - Subtle yet masterfully underplayed

Precious - Incredibly heavy film (excuse the pun)

Inglourious ****s - The Christoph Waltz show

Hurt Locker - Well acted

District 9 - Unique

Avatar - CGI vanity piece

The Blindside - Wut

*Didnt see "An Education"

He was awesome in that role... and then he got a swastika carved into his forehead.

I almost want to see The Green Hornet just because he is the bad guy in it.

...almost

he is funny in a few scenes, i burst out laughing once, his character is pretty pathetic, takes himself way too serious, kind of ur really evil/pathetic villain, kinda funny tho

Yeah I hate when that happens.

Shoulda been inception

I fell asleep watching Inception...

My nominees would've been: Salt, Takers, Tron and The A-team.

My vote would be on The A-team, hilarious and actiony. I love it

That's why you don't get to choose the nominees

I liked the music in Tron, reminded me of Mass Effect, but not much else. I had to walk out.

I think most people these days forget that the original Tron wasn't that great to begin with.

Didn't look interesting then and I never bothered to see it. Glad I didn't bother with this one either.
