Let the off season begin!

I can guess what Harbs would say "I personally don't know Mike, but I'm sure we'll give him a look and evaluate if he's an option for this team."

Really? I've never heard him say that before.

Hes too injury-prone for my liking.

Build through the draft!

Yes, because Ozzie and Co. have been sooooo adept at drafting impact WRs <_<

They haven't been exactly masterful at signing or trading for them, either, apparently. Although D-Mase has been outstanding but the jury is still out on Boldin. Housh and Stallworth may not even be back.

A solid QB is finally place when there's rarely been one since Ozzie became GM. If the Ravens can't develop one right now with Joe, they may not for the next decade.

Well we should have gotten Joe more weapons 3 years ago so they could develop a rapport... D-Mase, Rice and Heap will continue to be his security blankets, as was seen by Boldin's lack of looks, even when he was wide open. We need at least 2 young WRs who have size and speed to complement Mason and Boldin.

Three years ago, the team didn't even have Joe though. Clayton was still young and the team had faith in him. They drafted Rice, Smith and Harper. Smith has become a good special teamer but the injury in '09 and prevented him showing what he could do at WR and Harper has concentration drops.

I agree with your final point.

It was pretty obvious the direction the F.O. was going in 2008: QB or bust, which turned out to be Ryan or Flacco, and while Rice was an absolute steal in the 2nd Round, the fact the F.O. did nothing else to give Joe more weapons has stunted Joe's and this offense's development

I think that a poor offensive line has had the biggest toll on the potential of our offense this season. The fact that Joe rarely has time to look for a developing route (which Cam failed to abandon even though they weren't working, I'll say no more) was a major problem. I think if we re-sign Gaither, draft a couple of middle-round receivers like Titus Young and we should be much better next season.

Like I've said before, his injury history is concerning, but I would definitely take a look for the right price.

His age really makes him appealing to me. (26)

But they did by drafting Smith and Harper. Neither has worked out like I said before but the team drafted guys with the physical tools at least in '08.

I'd blame the front office more for the '09 off-season, seeing as the only skill players they brought in through the FA and the draft were Kelley Washington, L.J. Smith, David Tyree, Davon Drew and Cedric Peerman.

None of whom had any impact on this season for us whatsoever. That sounds bad. Kelley was good for us last year though.

Kelley did and Tyree played special teams but the others might as have never been on the team.

I would love us to take a shot at Mike Sims Walker. Great size, young, and has great speed. At worst he would be a good number two option imo.
