Wait! WAIT! I know this one...

Uhhh....

Darn. Lost it.
No you'll lose it next season when we go 7 and 9 or worse! Then you'll be singing to Cam, "Na na na na goodbye!" to the season!

I can not believe Harbs wants to keep Cam after all of this! It's digusting! It's official I am boycotting the Ravens this season. I will not watch or cheer for one more game or support my beloved Ravens as long as <he> is left to tear this team apart. I figured out a way to make some money though. I'm going to design Can Cam T-shirts once I find investors, hopefully they will be on sale by the time the season starts; if we even have a season this year.
If you're willing to boycott your "beloved" team over a personnel decision you simply disagree with, were you really a fan in this place?

I want Cam gone as much as the next person but to act like the Ravens have no shot at advancing further than they did this season(when they biggest reason they didn't was because of the players) and actually boycott a season is an absolute joke. Retaining one coach doesn't count as tearing the team apart.

Go ahead and make your t-shirts and other nonsense man. It's sad...

to say that you are "boycotting" the Ravens season and that they are your "beloved" Ravens is an oxymoron dude! they don't go together!

you bleed purple? really? really?

we "true" Ravens fans...although we are pissed at how our team plays sometimes and the decisions and choices that our coaching staff makes (all of which are beyond our control as fans)...still support our Baltimore Ravens!

so IF you are out....see ya!

but, IF you are a true Ravens fan as you keep saying you are...then... :th_snapoutofit:
You all can question my dedication all you want, but something needs done to get rid of Cameron and if enough people talked about boycotting the team, maybe, just maybe Bisciotti would do something about it!

What is sad is the fact that Harbs is afraid to do what almost everybody wants him to do [Fire Cameron!] What else is sad is you all don't understand what I am even saying! To say that we're boycotting the season would send a message to Bisciotti and maybe, he would hear it loud and clear and do something about it, but to stay with the status quoi is not only foolish!; it's maddening!

Like I've told others, a head coach isn't solely responsible for firing his employees. If Bisciotti and the team officials feel strongly enough about it, they could easily override John and oust Cam.

If Cam is indeed brought back, go ahead and attempt to get Bisciotti's attention all you want. Regardless of whose brought in or fired, I'll root for my team and hope they win a Super Bowl.

Again, I don't like Cam but simply bringing back would NOT be keeping the status quo. Execution was VERY RARELY crisp on offense for the entire 60 minutes this season. There were deficiencies at the QB, RB, WR and o-line positions. All will be looked to improve either by acquisitions or just growth in the off-season. Their issues weren't helped by Cam's own shortcomings but football is a team game and when you fail, you can't put it all at one person's feet.

Coincidentally, as I'm writing this post, I'm listening to Daniel Wilcox discuss the issues he had with Cam and he was only around Cam for a season if I'm correct. I'm going to wait and see if Cameron is let go but even if he isn't, I'll still support my team.

I know how you feel. But you know that if Ray Lewis and Ed Reed come back, you'll still be cheering for this team. However, once some of those last respectable faces decide to leave... I have a feeling more than a few people will be leaving.

I trully hope they let him go! I know we had problems at QB, RB, WR, and especially the O Line, but I trully believe that the these guys just can't play for Cameron, just listen to the way they all complained about his vanilla play calling!

Going into a season with ZERO expectations is probably for the best, right? I think our offense was over-hyped all off-season which is why there's so much backlash now. Teams like the Lions and Rams had ZERO expectations coming into this year, and their fan bases are ecstatic with 6-10 and 7-9 records respectively... if Cam returns I fully expect our offense to take yet another step back, so when it happens, there will be no surprises.

If you can do that, you'll be pleasantly surprised every time.

That reminds me: if Lay'Ron really does leave, I wouldn't be surprised if he spilled the beans on Cam too.

Yes you're right I'll still be cheering for them, even if Ed an Ray do retire! I'd rather lose everygame every year than to be an obnoxious Squeelers fan!

I really can't see Cam staying. Part of Steve's job is to keep the fanbase content. He definitely has to feel the pulse of the fan base. I'm sure he's getting plenty of 'fanmail' about people wanting to give up their PSL's if they don't get rid of Cam.

In the end, its both a Football and Economic move.

Yes that's probably the safest best, "Hope for the best, but expect the worst." Maybe we'll all be surprised?

Wilcox basically said that Cam didn't take much advice from the players or other coaches(which has been hinted by team insiders) and he often didn't take responsibility for things not going right, instead pointing the finger at players. He also said the players got tired of it/him.

I'm hoping the call is made available as a podcast.

I hope he checks this site? It would be an excellent indication of just what the fans feel! We can't take another year of watching our Offense regress! Just the threat of boycotting, or giving up PSL's could be enough to send a message to Bisciotti loud and clear!

I hope he doesn't check this site and is a competent enough decision-maker to look at the facts, listen to Ozzie, John, DeCosta and other team officials.

I moan and complain A LOT... but if I can suffer the Kyle Boller era and watch every game Im pretty sure I can weather the Cam Cameron era. Cam may be a good OC, but he is not suited for our team. IMHO he would be better off on a college program, would suit his skillset/game planning/play calling a WHOLE LOT better.

I highly doubt he checks this site. But he probably doesn't need to. He's around the city enough to know how fans are feeling.

I thought it was a great interview, very telling. Said he's very aggressive with players, takes credit when a play works and blames the players when it doesn't, he doesn't take advice or imput from players and by the end of the season (as you said) the players were sick of him and wanted change.

The players, fans and media wants cam gone... yet... harbaugh says he want to retain him. I don't get it.

I'm sure Kevin Byrne and the P.R. department have people scouring fan forums getting a feel for the fan base, but that's obviously NOT what they base their final decision on.... it's purely a football-related move, not based on knee-jerk fan reactions.

What we see is what they see so their final decision is partially what we want.

Yes. Thanks for including the part about him taking credit for success. There was some static but I swear I heard Wilcox also use the word "arrogant".

Same. Harbaugh would tell it to that person before ever saying it to the media.
