Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing John learn from his 2010 mistakes and take another step in being a great HC.

I like Harbs.

I just hope he doesn't turn out to be the HC that always gets to the playoffs and nothing else.

Rex should be here damn it!!!!!!!! We hire a special teams coach from Philly instead of a guy who knows the game!! Bad hire IMO...Rex was the man for the job..see how his teams play?? We are a mentally week football team...plain and simple...mental weakness is a direct reflection on your coach!
Did anyone see the offense huddle up on the sideline and get there heads right? NO..they just alll sit around looking at each other...Harbough is an average coach at best....to think we had Rex here, as a Raven, wanting the job..makes me puke!
We hire the better looking special teams guy..disgrace! And we are keeping Cam Cameron? Nice...goodbye McClain..no way he comes back..and i dont blame him. We dont make the playoffs next year..its downhill from here

Right now they are headed back to their couches! And with Pro Bowl players wanting out, and our coach keeping Cameron, I say we are headed down the toilet! Yea..The Offensive cooridator who never got things going, who produced -3 yards in a playoff quarter! The coaching staff wouldnt even try to huddle their guys up when things started going south!!! They had that stare, like you see when a guy is scared and just wants it to go away. They never took control of the situation! This team wont make the playoffs! Too many holes to be filled now with Ed gone, Matt Birk gone, McClain leaving, Ray gettin a year older, Joe still not winning a big game, Old wide recievers who cant seperate, no true left tackle, its over! We blew our chance at another ring. Be another 3 years before we recover...they cant blow smoke up my arse..tired of J Harbough politally correct BS anyway

Players still need to make plays. Ray Rice fumbled, Joe Flacco threw a INT. Boldin and Housh drop key balls, penalty call on a punt, Webb lost in coverage.

As much as I dislike Cam, players still need to make plays.

Saying we should've kept Rex Ryan, doesn't mean these same players sudden make these key plays that determine the game. Harbs got these guys to this point three years in a row. I for one will support this team because they keep us in a position to win.

If you want to cheer and slob on Rex Ryan, be my guest. I'm sure their are plenty of open applications to be a Jets fan.

He deserves a 2 year extension. I hope he continues the tradition of success with the Ravens and 1)finally gets a division title 2) beats the Steelers with Big Ben. Let's get those monkeys off our backs.

I for one am VERY interested in seeing what happens during the offseason,if we were almost there last year and picked up all these weapons for the offense this year, and that was suppose to do the trick, yet didnt........it will be very interesting to watch what they got up there sleeves for next year..........I will do my best to put my faith in Mr Bisciotti and hope things come out even better next year.........

What Pro Bowl PLAYERS want out? McClain is the only one and considering he made the Pro Bowl in '08 because he played RB and did it this season on reputation alone, the sky isn't crumbling as you're implying.

It wasn't Cam's fault the players choked in the third quarter.

It won't be hard to replace Birk.

How do you know Ed is gone?

Ray has been getting older for a while now but he's still better than most starting ILBs in the league.

Again, Le'Ron is no big-time difference-maker.

Joe has been a big part of winning big games. Pretending he hasn't after Saturday's lost is being dishonest.

The WR can be upgraded can't it or is that impossible?

Doesn't Gaither count as a true LT?

Go ahead and be a pessimist man. Better yet, why don't you jump ship and become a fan of the Jets? Me, I look at this team and even with all the questions, I still see a team that will be competitive and Super Bowl contenders.

I'm sorry, did Rex go into Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers in the playoffs already? Because until he does that, the Jets haven't done any better than us. They lost to the Colts last year, and if they lose to the Steelers this season then all they'll have to show for it is a worse draft pick. Polamalu didn't play when they met in the regular season.

I think Cam Cameron should be fired as the Offensive Coordinator. He has simply not produce the results that we wanted to see from our Ravens. I think we should be looking at Darrell Bevell in Minnesota, Tom Clements in GB, or maybe even Josh McDaniels. We need someone to open up the offense and Cam Cameron just isn't that guy.

Glad to see J.H. coming back. Hope he can see, he needs to replace the offensive, and Defensive Co-ordinators. How in the world, the way we played in the first half, keeping the pressure on Big Ben, go to a three man rush in the 2nd half, and give him time to beat us? If Ray Lewis retires, I for one, think he would be a great Defensive co-ordinator. Bet he wouldn't go to the prevent defense !!!!!!!

Even with the three man rush, Ben dropped back and let the ball loose so quickly, no one would have been able to get to Ben unless the Steelers blew an assignment. Webb played poor coverage and the safety(I want to say Landry) let someone get behind him, which you're not to do in that situation in Pop Warner league.

If you don't look back now and then you don't learn from your mistakes. Isn't this why teams watch films of games played?

Rex should be here? Did you see how rude he was to Tom Brady during an interview? I mean, I don't like Brady, but you've gotta learn when to just stop talking. He went on and on about his rivalry with Brady and how it's "personal". Do you really want that kind of person representing the Ravens? I don't.

Bill Belichick called Steve Bisciotti and gave John Harbaugh his personal endorsement. Belichick also spent a large portion of his career as a special teams coordinator and assistant. I suppose Belichick is a poor evaluator of talent, right?

Also, look at some of the games that Rex Ryan's Jets have lost. They lost by 1 point in their home opener to a Ravens offense that hadn't clicked yet, lost a 9-0 home game to a Packers team that struggled to get into the end zone all game, got creamed by a Patriots squad that they had already beaten, lost at home to the Dolphins by 4 points, and couldn't beat the Bears in a shootout despite posting nearly 100 more yards of offense. The story of Ryan's Jets isn't that far removed from the story of Harbaugh's Ravens.

If anything, the 2010 Ravens had the more impressive regular season showing, as they beat the defending Super Bowl Champions in a game that was never really in New Orleans' control, posted more 4th quarter comebacks than any team this season, and rectified most of the problems from 2009 save for the ability to close games earlier. The 2009 Ravens would've lost all of those close games. The 2010 Ravens didn't. That's improvement, even if the team never should've put itself in those positions to begin with.

Although Ryan's Jets made it further in the playoffs this year, the argument of who advanced to which game is moot if they don't win a championship. Everyone is back to square one except the Super Bowl Champions.

Rex's lack of "social graces" is probably what prevented him from getting the Raven's HC job, despite his knowledge. I don't mind a HC who is a little rough around the edges, but Rex is more than a little rough.

I'm with you. I'm sure a lot of people would argue that we wouldn't mind it if he won a superbowl, but I think he is too embarrassing. No dignity there.

Don't get me wrong I am extremely proud of the Ravens. 12-4 is nothing to sneeze at. To be contenders every year is exciting. There are a lot of fans that wish they had a team like the Ravens.

That was the sentiment I've been trying to echo but couldn't find the words. Kudos to you!

While we, as fans, would love to win a championship by any means, what happens in the years we don't win it all? Are we really prepared to suffer the embarassment of a coach that can't keep his mouth shut? A coach that antagonizes opposing teams' players and fans and has no couth or self-respect? We think we've got it bad now with Steelers fans gloating and talking trash, but imagine how much worse we'd get it from fans all around the league. Imagine how furious we'd be to tune into ESPN and NFL Network and have to listen to how appalled everyone is by our coach. At least when Brian Billick was shooting from the hip, he was being clever and the media loved him for it.

Although we expected a Super Bowl this year, it's hard to argue against the results that John Harbaugh has brought in three seasons. All any team can ask for is an opportunity to win a championship. That opportunity presents itself in advancing to the postseason. You can't talk about making it to the big dance if you don't take your first step. This Super Bowl talk would've been a moot point if the Ravens had never advanced to the playoffs to begin with.

Um, Terrell Suggs is that guy. He constantly talks trash about Tom Brady even when the Ravens aren't facing him. He has a vendetta against Brady.

That's why I said that the team never should've put itself in those positions to begin with. However, it's still an improvement, because the predominant theme in 2009 was the inability to finish close games. In 2010, the team was able to take that next step and win those close ones, but never should've put itself in those positions to even need to win them.
