Which "win" Would Be More Painful To You?

38 posts in this topic

The Steelers. But I want the Packers to win the whole thing. I just don't like the Jets. I really don't like Mark Sanchez, and I don't really have a good reason. It might have been watching him his rookie year acting like a child literally play-punching Rex and jumping around like he was ten. Or maybe it was watching him this year do his "jet" impersonation flying around with his arms out. I just can't stand the little girl, and the last thing I want to hear about is how he took NY to the SB.

But really, is it even a rivalry anymore between the Steelers and Ravens? All you guys say that, but it has to be a rivalry for us to actually win. We cannot beat them when they have Ben. People should stop making execuses and realize that they're just better than us, year in and year out. Flacco not being able to beat them when they have Ben is a startling fact. We'll always play second fiddle and be little brother to Pitt until we finally get over the hump, which seems to be very, very hard.

I'm hoping the Steelers/Jets game is great to watch, but really I couldn't care less for either team.
I kinda hate them equally.
The history surrounding the Ravens and Steelers makes me respect the Steelers more than the Jets.
So I guess I'd have to say I hope the Steelers win, because honestly if the Jets were to win the SB, that would upset me for many reasons.

I'm pulling for the Packers.
I don't really like the NFC, but I give the Packers credit and respect, and honestly before the season, I thought if we were to make it to the SB we'd be playing the Packers.
I'm not discrediting the Bears, I think they have a shot, but I think the Packers will make it to the SB, and hopefully face and beat the Steelers.

The Jets did beat the Steelers in week 15, so the Jets have a good chance of winning.
If you look at it, it's a sub-par Steelers team that is also beat up.
Rex seems to really be pushing his team and apparently they are playing their hearts out for him, and that can take you far, but it can't hide the faults they have.

So, I'm hoping for a Packers/Steelers SB, and I hope the Packers blow em out.

I'd like to see the Steelers beat the Jets, then watch the Packers beat the Steelers in the SB. Many of us here hate the Patriots and Colts and we have already seen those teams lose in the SB lately, why not watch the Steelers lose in the SB?

If Steelers win, which I think they will.Makes us look better.I dont think the Jets have a prayer in this one,a 2nd year QB beating the steelers 2 times in there back yard? I cant see it and dont think you will either if you watch this game today.I guess thats why they play the games huh? Steelers win 27- 13

I'm just looking forward to the end result. Because ONE of these teams WILL lose.

When that team loses. I think I'll go on their message board and read the chaos to make me feel better about myself.

You mind explaining THAT logic, please? HOW would a Steelers win make US look better...especially taking into consideration the fact that we epically collapsed in the second half...

GO PACK! Want my boy to get a ring as a starter!!

NO doubt, both teams pretty gross, compared to the Ravens who are(to us) always the good guys.

I really can't stand either team, Jets (and almost ALL New York) fans and teams are universally obnoxious, as they always think they are the center of the universe.
But the Steelers are always the most hated, just because their wins against us are so close, usually lucky and certain players (Ward) are in our face about being the better team.( of course so not true).

Right now the Packers are looking pretty strong, so I will root for them, because I do not think the Bears will beat either AFC team. And I definately want the other division to win.

It's indeed a lousy choice. I'd say the most painful would be the Steelers. Aside from the division rivalry, their bandwagon would continue to swell. I'd rather the Jets win because, historically, they won't keep it up. Rex will spew his stuff no matter, and the women at work will all love Sanchez, win or lose, so all that will be heard anyway.
