Since Chris Carr got his thread, how about to a shout out to this Gent who got an INT against the Saints and his heads-up play for the TD yesterday, I hope he enjoyed his first playoff run in his 9 year career.

He had a terrible start to the season but he really bought-in and turned it on. He always talked about how much he enjoyed the playoff hunt and was visibly ecstatic during the Kansas City game. He had a great year.

Much like Carr last season, he didn't start off well but really came on strong as the season progressed. At this point, I'm happy he's signed for another season.

Redding could have had another interception in the Bucs game had it not been for Ray as well.

I wouldn't say great. But better than what Pryce would've done. He had a pretty great game yesterday.

Great heads up play by him to get the TD. I am still shocked nobody reacted to that loose ball, I was ready to jump through my TV to pick that up, but Redding beat me to it.

He's been pretty solid on the left side. Ngata is already a force and I believe once Terrance Cody gets more experience and replaces Kelly Gregg as the NT, they could have some real girth on the line and eat up blockers, freeing the LB. Think back to the days of Siragusa and Adams. This would really benefit Redding to step up and control the left side.

Yeah maybe "great" was an overstatement, "good" is more like it. Definitely better than Pryce and about on par for what Edwards would've given us - except cheaper.

Like you said, it must've been great for him to be on an actual contender for once. A real thrill, glad he enjoyed it.

Ehhhh. He was acceptable

A lot of big runs were on his side the whole year, and he's been ok at pass rushing

But he really was Johnny on the spot the whole season, which can't be a coincidence

I like Redding. Hope he stays longer. Maybe we'll see the same from him that we did from Carr. Really step up his game next year.

I wanted him released just a month ago, but hes definitely improved.

I don't think hes starter material, but hes still solid and great for depth.

I think he has done fairly well considering the learning curve of a new team. What i can say that i do like alot is his football smarts especially after picking up that fumble while the rest of the 2 teams stood around exchanging pleasantries!
