Was it just me, or did Carr have an amazing game last night? Clean, solid tackles by himself and some really big tackles if I might say. Just my opinion though.

Could he be the most improved on defense this year?

Suggs, hands down.....Carr came on strong at the end of last year, just no one here wanted to admit it at the beginning of this year.

He's really been special and helped out this secondary tremondously...lets hope we keep him. Our secondary might look pretty good next year if Foxworth is healthy a few guys are resigned and we draft some youth @either safety or corner. (I know thats a lot to ask for but it can be managed)

He did. Carr use to be a semi-whipping post of mine. But I concede the guy makes us a better squad. He plays solid. He won't make your jaw drop but he gets the job done.

I wonder if could bring both Wilson and Carr back.

I really like both, but I'd go with Wilson if we had to chose one.

Foxworth, Wilson, Webb and Carr (no particular order) sounds like a good CB core to me. Carr, quite frankly did not play well his first year here, but ended up playing well this year.

Chris Carr is okay as a back up or as a 3rd DB on the field, but when we have him as a first covering the likse of Andre Johnson that worries me. The guy plays well in certain moments but he is very pron to giving up passes against top WR's in the NFL often and on 3rd down when it hurts the most, he has trouble adjusting to pressure and clutch situations. Carr plays the press and short passes well but in medium range, fast paced action or deep bombs he just loses his man more times than I would like to see. Carr is decent he is much better than last year but he isn't our #1 and imo no one on our DB list currently is a #1 and I hope we find a #1 SOOON!

he isn't #1 material, but a very good, consistent player. what i loved seeing was how he became more aggressive this year. it put a smile to my face week after week.

He did. The guy is frail though and I heard him say on the radio he doesn't have the frame to add much bulk.

You all obviously seem to forget the whole point of a corner... to COVER. To NOT let receivers catch passes. That's great he can tackle, but he wouldn't have to tackle as often if he could cover a receiver.

Josh Wilson is this team's best corner. Lardarius Webb is raw, but at least he's young and can get better. He's got speed, and some decent size. We know exactly what Carr is capable of, as well as Fabian Washington. They're not going to all of a sudden get better.

I have to say this guy is our Unsung Hero. Never really mentioned or recognized but he came up with alot of great open field tackles and seemed to be around the ball for fumble recoveries almost every time we forced one. We need to resign this guy. Is it true he added some bulk last offseason?

He had a great season overall... He really made me chew my words. His improvement over last season was very evident, and yes, I am sorry Mr. Carr.... ya did screw us last season, but you made up for it this year.
