Well its more because we would finally had a home game.

Plus Jets/Steelers is a lose/lose situation for me.
there ain't no jets fans....dealing with steelers fans and pats fan is an issue and annoying. Ny is mostly giants fans! jets are the redheaded step child.

NE AND STEELERS winning hurts the ravens. I can't see the jet surpassing our organization or being a threat even if they luck up this yr.

What the Jets just did doesn't make me feel any worse about the loss. Whose to say the Jets would have won tonight had the Ravens won last night? There's no way to prove that so I'm not going to wallow in hypothetical scenarios.

Turns out Rex is better than Harbs. I knew we should have promoted him instead of hiring a special teams coach from Philly...

It would really suck to see Rex win a championship before Harbs.

Also, I will puke if the Steelers win another championship.

Go Chi/GB I guess.

Are you drunk? The Jets will NOT beat Pittsburgh.
False...the Jets will beat the steelers! You will see, noone wanted to believe me when I picked them to win this game but they will take it to the steelers :).

Rex is better than Harbaugh? Last time I checked, PLAYERS PLAY THE GAME.

Did you see Jets players shooting themselves in the foot like the Ravens did last night?

Jets beat the Colts and the Pats, and some of you believe there is no chance for them to beat the Steelers? Do you even watch football? Did you watch it this year when ANYTHING can happen....

With us having lost out on a home playoff game - i hope Harbs seat is real HOT from our owner! I dont want him to be out of here but I sure hope he gets an ear full from Bischotti because he deserves it. With all of this talent on this team I in totally disgusted! Bischotti needs to light him up a bit and can Cam if Harbs wont!!! With this talent we and our vets like Ray deserve better!

I'm pissed the Jets won. I am so sick of Rex Ryan's mouth and it will only get worse now. The only bright side to this is that we get to pick in the draft sooner! I don't know about the Steelers beating the Jets in the Championship. We really banged up the Steeler's offensive line. We'll have to see what happens. I don't think the Jets have what it takes to win the big game, though. I think the NFC wins it this year again.

You know, PSL owner since the inaugural season...and I'm sick of it.
Maybe the Ravens should have stayed on the field and watched the marching band to keep them from falling asleep at half time! How can a team look so good the first half and look so horrible the second! Hopefully the Jets can beat the Squealers! We'll have a green Superbowl, Jets and Green Bay!

Yup...Bisciotti (that's how you spell it) is going to say - "Damnit Harbaugh, how dare you take this franchise to 3 consecutive playoff appearances!!"

all of this talk about Flacco compared to Sanchez is actually ridiculous cause Joe is sitting at home on the couch....again.....and Sanchez is playing in the AFC Championship game....again!

and.....

say what you wanna say bout Rex and his loud mouth but that cat has guts and heart! and the awesome thing about it is that his players followed his lead in this game vs the Patriots and shut Brady down!

Rex is a baaaaaaaaaad man! lol!

You just have to admit that your beloved Ravens organization made a mistake, then it won't suck anymore.

Now I'm sick, we could have had a home game.

It all started with Polumalu's forced fumble, the Ravens lose, the Steelers win the division, the game is at the Steelers....etc. Oh woe that one single play ruined our season.

They won't get whooped by Pit. They beat them this season. And the Jets have a less skilled team than ours and still made 2 Championship games in 2 years.

u think the pats gonna make coaching changes? NE losing puts things in perspective for me. They will still be considered elite based on nothing.

If the jets can knock off the steelers i can sleep well this off-season. ESPN ain't gonna slurp the JETS, lol. I'm tired off all the non football crap that comes with tom brady and him begging for flags.

hopefully jets can knock out the steelers arrogance.

Exactly. The feeling that the Ravens would have been playing in an AFC Championship because of today's result is dumb because we don't know what would have happened had the Ravens won last night.

Ha! This made me laugh.

Maybe I'm nuts but I'd like to see the Jets win the SB now that the Ravens aren't contending for it anymore.
I like to root for the underdog. :)

As much as the Jets talk so much (AKA Rex Ryan), they sure back it up in the playoffs!

The funny thing is that people won't dare admit that Rex took the team to the Playoffs twice with a rookie QB because they are envious of his success and don't want to compare him and Mark to Harbaugh and Flacco.
They're definitely comparable imo, very much so. Especially if the Jets lose in Pittsburgh next week.

How did they make a mistake? Enlighten me. Would Rex being here have brought Darrelle Revis here? Or Santonio Holmes? Or one of the best o-line's in football.

Rex didn't build crap. The key pieces were already in places.

First off. When the Jets played the Steelers, Troy did not play. Second of all, Ben was not as healthy as he is now. Thirdly, Sanchez is going to be playing in Pittsburgh for the AFC Title, that is not a good situation for a QB in his second year. Lebeau will be throwing everything at him, including the kitchen sink.

You have to remember, the Steelers are a different team than Indy or the Pats. They're finesse teams and they create mismatches for the Steelers.

But the Jets don't match up as well against the Steelers. Yes they beat them in December, but they returned the opening kickoff (Which counts but can't be expected)and Troy wasn't playing that game. Even though Troy didn't have a great game yesterday he still makes the Steelers defense a whole different beast.

I think every Steeler fan is counting our lucky stars, keep NE away from us!

I know all Ravens fans want an NFC winner, but I wonder who your rooting for in the AFCCG. hmmm

Go Jets! Rex Ryan might not be the classiest of guys but dang what he did to the pats was just awesome. Wish he was still our D coordinator...

Really? The only thing that's ridiculous was your statement. If Boldin catches the pass last night and the Ravens win, Joe is going to the AFC Championship. Flacco >> Sanchez
