Peta Objects To Using Live Ravens

PETA just wants to get their name in the paper. The NFL is a good way to do it.

I agree. PETA is the most worthless organization I know. If I find out that one penny of my tax money goes to PETA I'm writing my congressman.

If our government spends 4 billion a week in Iraq then I think they would be stupid enough to fund these clowns.

OKay, like many of you, i read the article. I am an animal lover, I work at an emergency animal hospital on nights and weekends, some o my best friends are veteraians and zoologists, and of course I own several animals myself. And I wanted to say: I AGREE WITH PETA!

Okay, I figured that no else in thier right mind would say it. Everything else in the above statement is true except for me agreeing with PETA. I actually had a small discussion about this, over some bugers, with one of my vet friends and we both agree that PETA is a group of zealots. While some are genuinly nice people that want the world to be a kinder gentler place for everything and everyone, most of the ones that I have meet are impractical, unrealistic, and most of the times they are the meanest people you'll ever meet if you say or do something that they don't agree with completely. So it is okay to be mean to other people but not to animals? Maybe my friends and I are wrong, but we vaule human rights over animals rights anyday. I'm not saying that we should be cruel. But providing food, water, shelter, and a few more decades of life is fair compensation for a few tricks eight times a year. Andi bet that they will have some of the best seats in the house, that sounds more like pampering than cruelty.

exactly, besides, its not like we're doing it because we want to see them suffer and die right then and there, No.....we care for the Live Ravens like a part of the Raven Family, the trainers Feed them, give them water, house them, treat them well, spend time with them....the whole deal. and they are saying that having the Raven in a stadium environment will harm it? ummm excuse me but umm....... you look around the league right now...go head, look its ok....... at all the Teams that have Live Mascots to represent the Team and the Fans as a whole, Those Live Mascots dont seem to be upset or distraught or look like they are being harmed in anyway, shape or form. If anything, we see the Live Mascot doing their little mascot thing, then leaving for the sideline or leaving the stadium or go over to the sideline for a little bit and are playful and energetic.

PETA just needs to relax a little.

hmm i'm going to make a seasoning brand named PETA.

"Sprinkle some PETA on your steak and taste the flavors!

whether it's chicken, pork, fish, deer, rabbit, frog, squirrel, ostrich, hippo, blue whale, you name it sprinkle on some PETA!"

hahahahaha PETA is a joke. Sure there are issues that need PETA's attention, but this is not one of them.
