Do You Care About Going To The Superbowl?

Feels like some of the players are just in for the ride. Some guys really want it(Ex.Suggs) and some are just like whatever(Ex.Flacco). How does the coaching staff improve this teams mentality.

Do you think Joe was "whatever" when he threw the pass to Boldin in the end-zone that was dropped? Or what about when he threw the pass to Houshmandzadeh on 4th down only to see it dropped as well?

I heard Joe Flacco kills kittens, too.

Are you just going to spam the forum making asinine posts about hating Joe Flacco and Ray Rice? Seems like it. This teams' "mentality" is fine, they made mistakes but they never gave up throughout the entire contest.

Great question. I was just watching the Packers/Falcons replays, and the Packers appear to have a fire and are a team on a mission. There was a glimpse of that kind of fire in the Ravens last year in the playoff against NE, and this year in KC, but past those rounds, it seems to disappear. There was a glimpse of it the first half, but it was totally missing the second half. That has to come from the leadership of the team, and it starts with the coaches. I believe that's where to start, and don't settle for another year of Cam and ANYTHING that results in conservative play.

All I have to say about the Superbowl is I hope the NFC wins it. All that is left in the AFC is trash, filth, scum.

Well I guess Boldin was more "whatever" when he dropped that sure TD pass that Joe put right there that would have given us the lead.

And I guess Housh was REALLY whatever when he dropped a perfect pass that would have extended the drive at the end of the game.

Cam must be the most "whatever" member of the organization because he's been using the same stale predictable plays all season and cost us more than just this playoff game.

The O line must not give a crap at all because they couldn't protect Joe in any fashion. Then again, when your OC continually calls plays that put you in 3rd and long all game long and the whole world knows you're passing, it does get tough.

Mattison must have been "whatever" every time he called up that 3 man rush on 3rd and long. Which he did almost the entire game.

Rice was so "whatever" he dropped the ball in our own territory.

Birk, a seasoned vet, was even more "whatever" as he snapped the ball into his thigh.

I wasn't kidding earlier. It is not the time for these bash Flacco threads with me. Cam continually puts this kid in no-win situations and people like you expect him to make it work.

Maybe you do have a somewhat point about the whatever thing though. As cheap/late hit after cheap/late hit went uncalled against the Steelers. As a phantom holding call inside our own 5 gave the Steelers another 4 pops at the end zone. As they make bogus call after bogus call against us. Perhaps, the players felt the referees were not about to let them win this game and they couldn't beat the Steelers and the refs. Maybe they did get beat down by that, causing a little of the "whatevers".

The thing that annoys me most about the loss is the only way Pittsburgh was going to get back in it was if we compiled mistakes. I'd say turning the ball over THREE times deep in your own territory is about as bad as it gets!!!

Not only did this spark Pittsburgh's defence, their offence picked up and worked it into the end zone straight away after these blunders.

Now I understand not all will go to plan, but to mess it up that badly is so very disappointing and downright infuriating as a fan.

Our defence worked so hard all day, only to be let down by the offence's inability to close the deal once again. How (sickeningly) appropriate that our own errors, sluggish offence and some rough officiating send us to a narrow loss against our biggest rival.

We really need to hear from our players, first in the press reports. It's their view which are most values. We had Three tunovers,, countless mistakes, but the official bias in enemy territory shoould not be taken lightly. It is defalting, 12 men on field or as another stated you cannot expect to win at Heinz playing against the Steelers and the refs. Not excuses, just hard realtity. A slight advantage, and the other team will win; average margin of victory within 3.

Harbaugh himself was quoted as saying it's sad to see a game that was tilted by officiating. He'll probably get fined for that, but at least he said it.

That ****! I knew there was a reason I didn't like him. I also heard that Cam Cameron is the Devil's slave and his goal against Humanity is to stop the Ravens from winning anything.

Players have different levels of motivation. But I can hardly believe that any player doesn't want to go to the Superbowl. They got to the NFL because of their drive to win. Now younger players will shove it off a lot faster than a vet.

Exception to the rule: Albert Haynesworth.
