The Raven

Tom Cable

Letting Hue Jackson go was probably the biggest mistake we made... he and Joe worked well together and, while his stats got better, he's still making terrible decisions in crucial games. He's clearly still a year behind given his background at Division I-AA, but after Ryan's performance in Atlanta, it's clear he's not as amazing as everyone pegs him to be.

Everybody cept the RG. But Charles has been that good for the Chiefs. He has been ridiculous
Charles is a special RB but some of the holes I've seen him dash through have been massive. How many really big holes have we seen the Ravens o-line open this season?

No! Hue Jackson made the offense in Oakland not Cable.
Really? Look up the teams rushing stats under Cable as the OL coach. I posted it in a previous post. Stats dont lie.

No thanks on Tom Cable. Hue Jackson needs to come back though.
This was the first thought that came to my mind, but he may be getting the head coaching job there, if not, I bet he'd love to come back to Baltimore.

Ochocinco said he's the best coach he's ever had... which well... doesn't say a whole lot but still.

I'm not completely opposed to McDaniels, but his ego is a lil too big, and I prefer a running offense. Idk if he's the right fit here. Harbaugh doesnt like egos.

I hope you are joking, if thats the case then lets just get rid of Boldin and everyone else because you saw how we ran all yr. All that wr talent was a waste this yr. we ran more this yr then we did last yr. what the heck . Thats what we need is someone with a big ego who will go in for the kill and not kneel when we have time outs and over 50 seconds on the clock before the half. Guess atleast a field goal isnt worth it.

I personally think that Cam cam should be fired, and Cable should be brought in as either the OL coach or the OC. He would bring an attitude to the offense that we need, and he would make us run the ball effectively. Not to mention, he was a former OL coach, and could potentially help us greatly at that position. After seeing them pile up the points on the Broncos, and go 6-0 in the division, i want him to be our OC!!!
I like the idea of OL coach, our guys up front need someone to keep a fire under their butts and get an attitude of domination about them. Not sure I want Cable making much more of the decison making than that though.

no no no! you misunderstood me dude. I want that coach that goes for the kill. We need the killer instinct. I'm saying that he's arrogant and thinks he's above the team. At least thats the vibe I got from his coaching in Denver.

Also on the killer instinct, Tom Cable has the "killer instinct". Thats what i meant by attitude.

Forget about Cable.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/18/tom-cable-lands-in-seattle/

He'll be the Assistant Head Coach/O-Line Coach in Seattle.

I'm not so sure Cable is the answer. I didn't really like him at Oakland and he seems to be suspect character-wise. Didn't he hit a player??? Guys like that aren't sought after around here.

I have to agree. He's a guy players want to go to war with. This is a violent game, and the D has that mentality, the o just plays not to lose.

This whole idea is moot since Cable has signed with Seattle to coach their offensive line.
