It could be longer if the owners and NFLPA don't hammer out a CBA... I can't imagine not having football, and only having the O's to talk about all summer long. I shudder at the thought.

If you like hockey, watch the Capitals. They haven't been as strong this season, but still at least a winning team to watch until baseball starts.

Did not cost me anything I am proud of my team, and am brightly looking forward to the future. Now on the other hand I have an employee that is a Steelers fan, gonna cost him his job on Monday!

The Steelers being sent to New England would be like a lamb being led to slaughter. I would relish every moment of Tom Brady butchering that secondary. I don't care about his Justin Bieber haircut or his feud with Suggs. None of that matters. I want revenge, and if I have to see it done secondhand, I'll take it.

Lets go Bieber, Lets go.

Today was my mothers funeral, the wake until 330 and at 330 everyone put on Ravens Jerseys and we tailgated--my entire family got to see what a true Raven Manic looked like and it was not pretty.:34853_doh: I even cleaned up the language too.

So sorry...

Definitely. I want them destroyed. I want them penalized out the wazoo while the Pats push and shove them around after the plays are dead. And no flags fly. I want every single yard they make called back. I want them to feel worse than we do right now.

I am a charger fan since I can remember!, but I got mad respect for the ravens! I do believe that the ravens is the only consistent top of the league defense over a decade! I feel everybodys pain cause we (chargers) get smash on the first round of the playoffs every year!
I got nothing but love and Mad respect for the Baltimore Ravens!!! I will follow you next year 100%

I went to sleep last night thinking I would feel better in the morning. Didn't happen. This is going to be a long offseason.
Last night I wrote that it cost me my sanity (temporally), but it seems for longer then I originally thought.
I went to bed last night with a calm resolve.
I feel worse today. I didn't expect to feel this sad. I am a RABID Ravens fan, but it is just a game played by people I do not personally know, so why do I feel so sad?

I didn't watch the game because.. well frankly put I didn't really care about it or who won. Tough loss though for you all and I had no idea until a few minutes ago that the Ravens offense put up 28 yards in the 2nd half. That is amazingly bad.

dear ravens
i was really disappointed at the game i really think yall should fire cam cameron and get somebody else i dont understand we was up 21-14 and flacco throw the ball and get a interception i dont understand that at all i really hope we get better players whats gonna happen with ray lewis, ed reed, todd heap, derrick mason, kelly gregg, is they coming back we need to get back to the superbowl we need better playcalling if we have the lead run the ball why pass it. we need better play calling more wildcat formations and stuff im just tired of same offense let all our receivers get in the game why not a 5 wide receiver set spread out the stellers or whoever we playing we need to get better fast!!!!

Same. This loss really stung. Assuming the CBA gets worked out, I'll be excited for football come September but last night's L is on par with the one in '07 to the Colts.

the worst part was I called the 3rd quarter collapse. in my res I am notorious for being a die hard Raven's fan, thus when I watched the game most people came to watch me watch the game as I get quite into it, and apparently its quite amusing to watch. At half time I said almost exactly this "Oh man we're up 21-7, I feel so good right now but at the same time I feel sick to my stomach because knowing the ravens, no team is ever truly put away this season" then the three straight turn overs happened and I just wanted to cry.

You know.. the bag head signature picture has been with me for a while but I am certainly open to discussion on lending it out for this occasion. =]

P.S. Thank you for the negative rep whomever gave it to me. I'll take it as a compliment.

unintentionally put a hole in my wall, but worst of all... I have to wear a Hines Ward jersey next Sunday. I'm not leaving my bed for 24 hours.

I can't say that I feel the same as a lot of fans who were disappointed with the game. With this team, no lead is safe, and this game was pretty much our entire season summed up in four quarters. I don't even feel bad, I wanted changes to be made, and I don't think that would have happened had we won the SB.

As a long suffering Baltimore Orioles, Maryland Terps and die hard Ravens fan ,unfortunatly this is a familiar feeling.
I am still waiting for the karma when the "good guys" actually win.
I am happy for the Super bowl win but that was 10 years ago.
We need another. Soon.
We could use the pride factor.

after a day at disney's animal kingdom, it was time to watch the game but i wouldn't make it back to tampa in time. we went to disney's wide of world of sports' espn grill/sports bar. just to get in was 15 dollars but i had to see the game. we were greeted with what turned out to be a steeler backer bar, hundreds of black and yellow families in the place and much pointing and jeering when i walked in clad in raven gear. i kept my cool, even with a halftime lead and didn't gloat. in the bathroom and older gentleman, maybe 60, cursed me out and the little kids at the next table (about 10 9 year olds) kept telling me ravens suck and go back to cleveland. i sucked it all in and, as we all know, it only got worse for the ravens in the 2nd half, and much much worse for me. i wanted to leave or hide my head but i stayed until the end, by which time the steeler crowd was just going insane and practically in my face with their towels telling me to go home and take my sorry *** team with me.

it was crushing. i had nothing to say except
"good luck with the patriots, guys"

i never liked the steelers but after last night, i absolutely hate them and can see why losing to them is much worse than losing to ANY other team.

Besides the obvious reason why do you think I was so furious texting last night? BTW you nailed it lol

Actually our token Steeler fans had to leave at halftime to go back home.

Thanks for the good wishes.

amen to this.

since you mentioned the Terps, did anyone watch the game saturday. EErily similar to the Ravens game. They had a decent lead at halftime, let villanova go on a 19-0 run in the 2nd half and never could scratch their way back in it.

For me, it's having to face the bunch of silly bandwagon Steeler fans where I work. The sad thing is it's games like this that only swell their ranks.

One positive point, this should relieve us of a bunch of that type fan.

$20 in a bet to my mother (she's a huge Steeler fan, and wore the jersey that I was stupid enough to buy her)
3 large ice cream sundaes from Diary Queen (one to my Grand dad, aunt and little cousin - Steeler fans)
Pride
$30 in alcohol and $10 in cigarettes.
A door (slammed it so hard I broke the door jam, now it won't close)

b-more needs a 3rd team. it would improve downtown and generate jobs in around the organization. preferably basketball....but i'll take hockey. It's a shame we don't have a 3rd big time pro team.

It cost me nothing other than having to deal with some of the absolute worst sore winners on FaceBook ever. Especially ones who can't talk without swearing eight times in a sentence and saying absolutely disgusting things about the Ravens AND their fans. And people wonder why Steeler fans are so hated.
