2011 Ravens

I'm hoping in 2011, they'll come back as a new team starting in preseason. Don't let it slip anymore or make game-costing mistakes. How do you think they'll do next year?

If we get a new OC theres going to be some growing pains on offense for awhile. Player personnel wise I see the defense getting worse, our playmakers are a year older and I dont see the same output from these guys. Guys ragged on Mattison the last 2 years when we had #3 ranked scoring defenses, but I dont see it getting better unless Kindle is actually healthy and can perform like he did in college athletically, and we get a DE that can push the pocket with some type of regularity.

Offensively I see us getting better again, Rice is another year older, Flacco will be another year smarter, but we need Gaither to come back or finding a LT, and we need a vertical WR in the worst way possible.

i would get rid of some people like matt birk. he cant snap a football. not only for that bbut i thought he would help our offencive line out. and nothing. in 2011 i expect lewis to be there. look for derick mason to retire. i just hate to see these kind of retirements but it will happen sooner of later. i think both reed and lewis to be back. DEFENATLY NEW CORNERS. ALSO NEW OC> FIRE CAMERON. he has sucked this whole season. our defence has carried us this whole defence. get rid of dickson and pitta because they suck. they are terrible at receving and blocking. we need another experienced te. this year we could have gone undefeated. we have a good chance of doing that. if only we were in the era of the super bowl winning season.

Idk if it's the emotions that can't help me focus but our entire roster just seems like a big mess now with possible retirements, FAs, and the draft. Idk where to start. thank God I'm not in the Ravens FO.

I think we are going to have alot of player turnover this coming year, which is never good. The good thing is the nucleus of our offense should still be there and I don't think Ray Lewis or Ed Reed will retire yet. We had such high hopes for this season, finally getting a wide receiver and falling short of the super bowl hurts. That being said I think we'll be competitive as always but I expect a season similar to that of 2009, following the last collapse against the steelers in the playoffs

Anquan Boldin is a good player. No doubt about it he made a huge mistake today, but he's learning, along with Flacco and Rice. They'll be another year smarter, not older next year, and they'll be able to handle the pressure of an AFC Championship game, so next year will be our time.

Like most people said, it comes down to what happens in the offseason. The key to me is consistency. Aside from the first two games of the season, it felt like in every single game there was a point where one or a few of our areas, passing offense, running offense, scoring, pass defense, run defense, scoring defense, looked really good, an times when thoe tings looked terrible. I look around the league at the teams still left in the playoffs and feel like the most consistent teams (except for Seattle, I cannot for the life of me figure them out) are he ones winning the games. Look at today, we had the Steelers on the ropes, and then offense dissappeared in the second half. We need to find a way to play at least one home game in the playoffs next year, I think that would really help. If we can be consistent from start to finish, we can go all the way.

I truely think Oz is going to make some surprising changes, but I think they will be beneficial changes in addition to drafting some new talent, Flacco will surprise us all and be in the same boat as this year 12-4. Cam will be gone too. I mean he can't be that good if he's been fired so many times before. Also, plan on seeing Sergio :)

Yep. The team should cut two tight ends in their second years. Hilarious.
