Did You see Joe miss a wide open Boldin? Did you see Joe throw a terrible interception deep in our zone? Did you see Joe run out of bounds again instead of throwing it away? How about holding the ball forever and taking sack after sack? Face the putrid facts, he just doesn't have "it"
Okie dokie.....

You see what you see and the rest of the NFL sees what we see.....

Did you see the o-line fail in pass protection? Did you see Heap drop a ball? Did you see Boldin drop a TD pass? Did you see Houshmandzadeh drop a first down?

It's like every time Joe takes a sack, he held onto to the ball too long. We rarely see what routes the WRs were running and if anyone was open(doesn't stop people from saying "get rid of it") but every sack is his fault. Ridiculous...

His decision making is not where it should be for a third year QB. Throwing to Heap in double coverage like that, running out of bounds for a 9 yd loss instead of throwing the ball away. Things like that make me wonder how good he will get.
The 9 yard loss meant little or nothing. We were punting short anyway.

I think Joe showed the poise of a veteran. He made one, maybe 2 bad throws. He hung tough and made good decisions against a very tough, fire breathing D, IN THEIR HOUSE! Joe is the MAN !

Go away.

Bashing is allowed as long as it relates to their play on the field. Personal attacks are not allowed.

Oh, okay. Sorry.

And people like you just want to make excuses for Joe, every QB has dropped passes. You must have missed the stat during the game saying the Ravens had the least amount of dropped passes all year. How about D Mase breaking up a sure pick at the end of the game? If he doesn't do that we are talking about Flacco's 2nd pick not the Housh drop.

I know it's not all on Joe, but the truly great QBs don't make those costly mistakes. He just looked completely lost out there the majority of the game...

I have to agree. I'm not to the point where we need to look at other QB options, but some of the things that he does makes me scratch my head. I wasn't even surprised when he didn't hit Boldin while he was wide open over the middle. He stares down his WR's that he wants to throw to and holds on to the ball way too long. I think it's time for a system change with Joe because he just can't win in this one

What do you want? Boller who trips over himself? McNair when he can't throw over 9 yard completions? Grbac who cries? Tony Banks? Kordell Stewart?

Flacco ain't best but he was top 10 in all statistical categories this year. He's won more road Playoff games than most QBs do regular playoff games. He's not elite but he's not garbage by any means.

As long as Flacco is our QB, we have no shot at winning.

Look for a 7-9 season next year as the vets retire.
You know nothing about football, Flacco needs the offense opened up and become less predictable, he needs to be better protected, he was sacked more than any other year. Of course there are growing pains in the playoffs. Did Colts give up on Peyton after 6 years of never getting past the Patriots?

And check out Matt Ryan's play tonight, he's NEVER won a playoff game and he's playing horrible. Joe Flacco has all the tools and is our QB, no doubt.

Cam Cameron does not have the killer instinct to put games away, he is gone this off season.

So I'm making excuses for Joe by pointing out crucial times his teammates let him down? Please...

I don't give a damn the Ravens had the least amount of dropped pass this season, tonight, there were two clean drops and one of them would have given the Ravens the lead with around 3 minutes to go.

Mason breaking up the bad throw by Joe was a big play. It was a very poor throw by Joe and Mason bailed him out. But it doesn't change the fact that two plays later, Joe made an on-the-money throw to Houshmandzadeh and it was dropped.

I've had it with the bash Flacco threads after every loss.

He had 2 bad throws the entire game.
His WRs couldn't catch to save their lives.
Cam continually puts him in bad situations with poor play calling.
The O line falls apart and gives him no time.
His #1 RB fumbles. (have to add it even though he didn't fumble all season. Now was not the time.)
His center can't remember how to snap the ball correctly.

So find a new scapegoat and get off of Flacco's back. The kid has set RECORDS in his first 3 years. Stop expecting him to be a Tom Brady by now. Even Tom Brady wasn't Tom Brady in his 3rd year.
now...to be honest....Flacco's game play pisses me off at times....but....

i think that you hit the nail on the head with this statement!

Cam's horrible playcalling actually sets Flacco up for failure! he doesn't put Joe in position to succeed as a QB with all of his conservative plays instead of tyring to put more points on the board.

get rid of Cam and Flacco will improve as a QB considerably!

Flacco had a few dropped passes that cost us in this game, the pass to Rice that turned into a fumble, the pass to Boldin which he dropped a sure thing TD, and then the TJ pass who drops yet another one.

Joe Flacco is the real deal...and anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know much about football.

The backup is always the most popular person on the team...Flacco has improved every year, he has been held back by the <crappy> playcalling, that is time to change. He is a grown man and has taken on more of a leadership role. It's time to spread them out and let Joe take games over. Ray Rice wasn't himself all year. Without Joe Flacco we don't even get to the playoffs or make it past KC last weekend.

Joe just does not have the leadership qualities you look for in a QB. It wasn't all his fault. But he really didnt help much, to ensure us a victory. I think we need to bring in another QB, for competition, to push Flacco to be a better QB. If he can't compete then put him on the bench. This is a team game.

Flacco has a lot of work to do this Off season to prove that he is That Guy. With that said: he is the best Qb we have ever had. Jared Gaither needs to come back and play Lt Michael Oher needs to be moved back to RT. Birk can retire, and Yanda and Chester can return to their reserve roles. This team makes me sick sometimes, but Joe is the best thing we have right now. Bye Cameron and Mattison.
 When did you become a fan of this team? Yanda has been a starter whenever he wasn't injured.

Joe had 16 completions in 30 attempts for 125 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

That is not good. Another poor performance in a big game. True the dropped passes contributed, but it seems other great QB's can overcome dropped passes.

I'm watching Rogers in the Green Bay game and he looks like he could beat anyone.

Joe is not the real deal. He is not a differance maker. If the team isn't playing well your QB to be a leader and make every around him step their game. That not Flacco, doubt if it will ever be. If the coach wants to keep his job. He needs to fire the OC and DC and start looking for another QB.

You do realize he has played out of position all season right? Last season, when the Ravens could actually run the football to the right side of the line, a big reason why was because Yanda was playing his natural position, guard. He doesn't have the length or athleticism to play tackle at a high level and we've seen that this season. The guy is a really good guard though.

I'd love to know how a great QB would have overcame a dropped pass in the end zone on third down and on fourth down. Maybe a great QB wouldn't have been in that position to begin with but just because Joe isn't a great QB doesn't mean the game could have been won or at least possibly tied up had guys caught the football.

I dont see the need to start another thread but how about let's bash Boldin. Did you SEE his postgame remark about "the drop"
“I tried to come up with it,” Boldin said. “It was low. It was a tough play. It was a low ball.”
Is he seriously blaming that on joe? Thats EXACTLY where you want the ball to be in that situation. Low where the DB cannot make a play and there's little chance of a deflection and thus an INT. Absolutely ridiculous. If this is his attitude, he needs to go.

I am sorry, the payoffs seem to be some what w can't complete. It’s time to re think what we have and move forward. Ozzie work your magic and find a new offense coordinator and new defensive coordinator and maybe a QB really, yes and head coach. Enough is enough. Thoughts?

There is definitely room to criticise Flacco. He made a few poor decisions, a few poor throws, he missed an open reciever on a couple plays, and could have done a better job moving around in the pocket. It was a sloppy performance by Flacco. That sloppy performance was magnified by poor play by his teammates, because if Boldin doesnt bounce a TD off his chest on a pass where Flacco split the seam, if TJ doesnt bounce a game extending fourth down conversion off his chest, if Heap holds onto one of those passes and if Rice doesnt fumble, this game would have gone differently.Yes, let's knock Flacco for his sloppy play, but only if you drag the rest of the offense through the mud with him.

How long have you been a fan? Because I remember making the playoffs every other year, starting a guy named Elvis at qb, the travesty that was Kyle Boller (can't believe we hung on to him for 6 years), and an offense that couldn't score from 1st and 10 on the one yard line.
