Let's Criticize Flacco Here

234 posts in this topic

As long as Flacco is our QB, we have no shot at winning.

Look for a 7-9 season next year as the vets retire.

He only had two bad throws the whole game. The INT and the high one to heap that is not bad at all. The bigger problem were the dropped passes by Housh, Heap, and the perfectly thrown potential td pass to Boldin.

Flacco is the future.

He needs to put it together in big games. Look at his Qb rating in big games, I bet its under 75. I love Flacco to death, and I have some hope for him still, but until he starts getting better in big games, I cannot put him in elite, or even top notch, status yet.

How about Rice's fumble? Should we bash Rice too? How about Boldin dropping a perfect pass in the end zone? We had too many flaws in this game, which is why we didn't win. I expect a lot more out of our offense next year, hopefully WITHOUT Cam Cameron.

Bash Flacco? Cause his WRs couldnt make the big game catches like the Steelers WRs did? Boldin catches that TD it might be game over.

I didn't know he was expected to be elite in his third season in the league. He improved greatly from last season, I expect the same next season, especally if the FO finds a way to fix the offensive line.

I'm not going to dog Flacco too much. The play-calling sucked in the second half and our O-Line couldn't get him time. Then when he makes some tough throws our receivers dropped the ball.

The guy is still the future but there do need to be some changes.

Just tell me, who would you rather have? Mark Sanchez? Cam Newton?

Why does Flacco always get bashed everytime we lose? Even when it's not on him (majority of the time) we still get these threads!

Yeah lets go back to the Boller era when we couldn't even make the playoffs.

I love threads like this, the OP never returns to argue his point...therefore coming across like a homer.

I've had it with the bash Flacco threads after every loss.

He had 2 bad throws the entire game.
His WRs couldn't catch to save their lives.
Cam continually puts him in bad situations with poor play calling.
The O line falls apart and gives him no time.
His #1 RB fumbles. (have to add it even though he didn't fumble all season. Now was not the time.)
His center can't remember how to snap the ball correctly.

So find a new scapegoat and get off of Flacco's back. The kid has set RECORDS in his first 3 years. Stop expecting him to be a Tom Brady by now. Even Tom Brady wasn't Tom Brady in his 3rd year.

I bashed Flacco pretty much all season long. But to me it seemed like Flacco was just as, if not, more efficient than Rottenburger was today. He had poise, stood in the pocket nd kept his cool. Today, i did not bash Flacco..

This is funny, Ben takes sacks all day and fumbles but when his WRs bail him out on 3rd and long hes clutch. When Flaccos WRs drop big catches he called a choker. Give me a break.

flacco is unexperienced, and it doesn't help he can't read defenses, and his QB coach jim zorn sucks along with cam cameron and greg mattison both suck. If the ravens had a better offense coordinator, defensive coordinator and QB coach they would be able to beat the steelers and win another super bowl before ray lewis leaves

Can't blame flacco. He held onto the ball a few plays. The time he didn't henthrew a pick. Flacco had a lot of obstacles. The fumble, a few drops, the refs, and most importantly a great defense.

Housh and Boldin hung him out to dry at the end, and the O-line gave gave him no protection when he needed it most. He made two bad throws the whole game and some troll comes on here to say he sucks. Flacco is a franchise QB. He won games for the Ravens this year and he'll do it again next year.

If he is to get better his decision making has to improve in that he has to be able to make quicker reads, IMO.

By the way Antonio Brown >>>>>>>>> Houshmandzadeh, Boldin

How many years did it take the almighty Manning to win his first Super Bowl?
[/quote]

That comment does not even warrant a response. Manning was drafted 1st overall for a reason, his team sucked.

When did his WR "bail him out"? The throw on 3rd and 19 was pretty spot on.

How many times did Flacco throw the ball down the field? I remember 2 times, both to D Mase and one we got a PI and the other Mason broke up a sure pick.

We never give credit where credit is due. Ben made some big time throws when he needed to.
