This One Stings

We had that game but couldn't put it away. This stings more than the AFC Champ loss, or any other game i've watched. We had so many chances, but couldn't convert. I really thought this was our year, one of our last chances for a while with our team getting up there in age. It was a good season, but this one is gonna hurt for a long long time.

I agree 100%. All the emotion surrounding the team with Ray Lewis' ring and Reed's brother included all seemed to be leading up to a Superbowl victory. I just want to vomit right now. And I thought the loss to them two years ago hurt? This one is six times worse.

The Team lost this one... there is no singel person to blame.... Rices And Birks Fumbels, Joes INT, the droped balls and getting burned 3-19 to the 3y line.... losing a game you lead HT by 14 point...its a shame!

I already cried. Had so many people telling me "There's always next year, they'll be better next year." How do you know that? We can't guarantee that we'll have Lewis, Reed, Heap or any of the veterans back next year. Imagine playing without them...that though just gives me the chills.

Most the plays of this game pisses me off when I rethink about them.

Seriously a pro-bowl veteran hits himself in the *** with a snap? Really? That's what a crucial turnover comes down to. You've been doing it for how many years? and you can't snap into the QB hands?

I can't imagine the Ravens locker room. Harbaugh is probably too mad to talk. This game was ridiculous! What made it worse was having to see Ed Reed put up with all that crap on the field, especially after what's going on at home with him.

No, it didn't. Numerous teams have lost great players before and continued to be successful.

My sons, who aren't really football fans, watched with me, and were up jumping and yelling on the 55 yd punt return, and were really turned off to learn it was all for naught because of the stupid hold. They both said no. 11 had better be fired. LOL

It sure does, it's hard to believe that what was our best quarter all year long turns out to be the quarter that they completely fold in, you can't give Ben 3 short fields and not expect him to put up points. This was a complete team loss, first one Rice fumbled it, second one Flacco should of attacked the left side of the field instead of trying to force it to Heap, and the third was on Birk, Flacco was calling for motion when he hiked the ball.

Just a complete team loss, this sucks.

You always have your buttholes and drunk uncles in the crowd but for the most part steelers fans respect how hard we play them and kept telling me if they lose the Ravens must go all the way and win or they would feel disrespected. Alot of them feel our teams are the #1 and #2 in the AFC.

All in all a few pissed me off but there was a mutual respect for each other and for the game of football. Hopefully next year I can come back and have a different outcome next time.

I'm at a loss for words not only am I big a ravens fan but I am also a big rangers fan and this loss feels exactly as I felt back in 05-06 and 06-07 when the rangers had jagr shanahan you name it best shot to win the cup and that was gone. This feels exactly the sAme a ravens team with possibly the best chance for a while to win it all andjust couldn't.

Does anyone know how many years Lewis and Suggs have left on there contracts? If I recall correctly Lewis signed a 3 year deal so next year should be his last and Suggs signed a 5 year. Anyone know for certain? I know Mason won't he back and who knows about Heap. As far as Reed goes I believe he signed a 1 year deal last year but I forget.

I am so livid right now I want to cry. this seems to be a yearly thing with this team. can't beat Roethlisberger, can't beat the Colts, can't close games. A second half full of disappointment.Between Joes wild pass, to Ray not knowing how to hold on to the ball and Cam seemingly to go conservative again.I love this team but I feel I'm at an all time high for stress with this team.Just when are they going to get over this damn hump?When?This is so sad it makes me angrier by the second.They had this damn game!

It's really amazing. The quick change of feelings. At halftime we were sitting around here at my house, smiling laughing, talking smack, talking about the next phase.

Then poop. What the hell happened? We were firing on all cylinders. Then nothing worked. Its like someone took a hammer and started banging on[i] <crap>[/i] in the lockeroom.
