Definitely have to agree with all three of these things... as much as I love Flacco, he's just not clutch. And if he's not clutch, we'll never get to the Super Bowl, much less win it. Regular season doesn't mean anything, as long as you can get to the playoffs. Heck, Dilfer did better in big games than Flack.... I guess I'm just mad, but to this point, I've seen no big time from him.

And guys, lets face it, you can neg me all you want to, but our window is closing fast. Reed/Lewis/Birk/Gregg/Mason are all only getting older, and if they don't retire this year, they will the next most likely..

I agree with the former, but not the latter. If we had given up the long pass while blitzing, it would be at least somewhat understandable. Webb was beaten terribly on a play that sent 8 players to cover the pass. That was inexcusable on the part of #21. Not the case of flawed play-calling.

- New OC- Cam is too damn conservative.

- New DC- Mattison was the wrong DC from day 1, we should have went after Nolan when he was available, another mistake we made.

- ASO! When Free Agency begins... give Aso what he wants and let him do what he does best.

- Gaither! Put him back at LT and move Oher back to RT, Move Yanda back to Guard.

- Strong Safety. Landry sucks!

- Receivers who can catch the damn ball.

- Defensive line with the exception of Ngata who knows not to tackle the RB into the end zone.

2. A new Strong Safety that can actually make a difference in a game.
3. Also good inside linebacker who does not just have one talent.
4. A game changing wide reciever that has blazing speed.

because of the stupid prevent, Ben had all day to plant and throw. He would have never been able to throw that pass if he was running around, but our defense didnt lose this game. It was all Offense, its unreal what happenned today. Total disbelief.

Have you watched Roethlisberger play us before? Thats exactly when he burns us. Besides, its not like he went through 3 progressions and then threw it, that was his first read and Webb stopped running and Landry let the WRs get ontop of him.

In terms of what we need...

New OC
A talented WR that knows how to catch the ball in critical situations
Re-sign Gaither (most critical IMO)
Draft some young talented defensive players because Ray and Ed are gone, guaranteed

True that Ben faced the same thing. I do believe we had the same number or close to the same number of sacks. So what was it that Ben did so much better than Flacco? Oh, his receivers caught the ball instead of dropping it. Yeah, that's Flacco's fault.

Next season we need a new:

OC, DC, YOUNG DRAFTED WR with speed, Offensive linemen.

I'll add more when I find out who's retiring.

We need a couple of maulers up front, ones who don't seem intimidated playing against some of the best in the league. With Foxworth back, and Wilson's strong play down the stretch, I'm not sure if CB is an area that's as neccessary to address. I would probably insist on picking up an ILB, because the Season long shuffle of McClain, Ellerbe and Gooden didn't provide any stability. Like many, I'm the bandwagon of searching for an OC who does a better job of utilizing our strengths. Assuming either TJ or Mason are gone next year, we're once again in the sweepstakes of another quality WR. I'm also interested in seeing what we do with Landry.

Barring there is a season next year, and coming off this heartbreaking loss, here are in my opinion the biggest needs for the Ravens.

WR- We need a receiver who can break the secondary with good speed. Mason likely to retire, who knows about Housh future.

OL- Need improvement on the OL, especially at RT. Could use a C to be mentored under Birk

CB- Corner backs weren't awful, but I still think we need depth/improvement at the position
