That really sucks. I pray it doesn't affect him too much tomorrow. The only silver lining is that McGahee has had a good amount of success against the Steelers in the past.

Sounds like he has what my whole family has had all week. If I recall correctly the Chiefs had a couple out due to flu.

Their guys all played, Bowe and Alberts I think who had it. It just might affect how long he can push for in the game and how much stamina he has. Hopefully hes ok.

No doubt they put something in his grub in the hotel to give him food poisoning, saw it on Blue Mountain State, true story.

Let the conspiracy theories begin!

On a more serious note, hopefully Ray will be feeling better and ready to play.

I think Rice will be fine for tomorrow's game but if not, next man up.

Get some rest & get well soon, Ray.

I had a 24 hour stomach virus over the christmas holiday. I threw up like crazy but felt fine 24 hours later. Unfortunately, it spreads easily and the whole team could have to tomorrow.

Well that's just great. So much for feeling good about the game.

Can we catch one break against this team? Seriously.

Get well soon Ray. As much as I'd hate not to have Ray, let's not forget week 4 where Ray's knee was banged up and had a reduced role. Willis stepped up pretty well.

Stallworth's been missing practice due to illness as well. I told those darn Chiefs to stay on their side of the field! Darnit.

Rice seems like a gamer. I can see him playing tomorrow. Hell, McNabb threw up on the field all the time and he didn't even have the flu. And no, I wouldn't rule out some Pittsburgh native and Steeler fan slipping some eye drops into his drinks at dinner. :)

Maybe it's just a matter of anticipation. I'm not saying that Rice is nervous (by no means), but sometimes the anxiety of a big event can mess with your digestion. Some of the guys might be tossing and turning tonight. This is huge, and I know they feel it too!

Seeing as how the way to beat the Steelers is to pass the ball... I was thinking McGahee should be starting and getting the most snaps anyway. He's a MUCH better blocker than Rice. And when we do run... he's really not a dropoff at all.

The first priority in this game is to pick up the blitz though, and McGahee is definitely better than Rice in that area.

We can run, especially when we have the lead in the 4th quarter... but I look forward to seeing the Ravens keep 3 receivers out there all game long, and just stretch that defense out all game. Wouldn't mind some 4 receiver sets with Stallworth in there either! Mark Clayton and Demetrius Williams proved you can beat Polamolu in man-to-man deep. Let's see it! Force Troy to have to drop back. Don't let him dance around the line of scrimmage.

I actually agree with this.

Willis can't afford a fumble this game, he needs to hold on to the rock. Ball security will be huge of course.
