Javon Walker Found Unconscious

I'm glad to hear that he's going to be alright.

However, I'm disappointed at how the article on the robbery was written -- was it REALLY necessary to mention his partying habits? That only paints a negative picture of his character, and creates the ASSUMPTION that his lifestyle had something to do with this crime -- something that the police (I believe) have YET to confirm and are STILL investigating.

To me, that's irresponsible reporting, even if his lifestyle DID play a role, significant or otherwise.

This smacks of how Sean Taylor's death was covered, as well as how Darrent Williams's death was covered; both had initial reports that suggested that their deaths were indirectly of their own doing, when that was (so far) found to be exaggerated in Taylor's case, and inconsequential in Williams's case (the person of interest is currently being sought after as the primary suspect after a VERY telling letter was intercepted).

Here's another interesting (if somewhat unrelated) note: when Darrent Williams was killed, he passed away in the arms of none other than his former Bronco teammate, Javon Walker.

Do you really expect anything more from the media? Negativity sells. The Packers player who had their house broken into, I cant even remember ESPN covering that at all. Its a sad sign of the times that we live in. But I am also glad that he's ok. After the year that the NFL had last year with two promising young players being murdered, as a fan of the game I dont think I could handle another one.
