Cowboys New Stadium Cursed!

3 posts in this topic

There have been at least two other accidents at the stadium site that left workers hospitalized.

In August, a crane hook hit a worker in the back. He was sent to the hospital and released the next day. In January 2007, a stadium worker fell 20 feet through a hole between stadium levels. He was hospitalized in critical condition but recovered and later returned to work.

Sounds REALLY fishy...freak accidents or not, OSHA really needs to investigate all of this thoroughly.

Without jumping to conclusions, maybe the general contractor needs to be looked at, as well.

Unsafe working conditions are no joke, and if the workers are also being irresponsible with no one monitoring it, that amplifies the risk involved. I don't know if the general contractor would have direct responsibility when dealing with subcontractors, but I bet they could still be held liable because I sure as hell know the Cowboys want nothing to do with any of this.

there were also two other incidents earlier in the construction where one man fell 20 feet through a hole between levels of the stadium and another man was hit in the back by a crane. both went to the hospitalized and were released later (the one who fell was in a bit worse condition) but they both returned to work.

maybe the company is just incompetent or something, because a billion dollar project does require serious work and isn't something to be taken lightly. if you don't do your job right and their is something wrong with the final product then if something serious happens (like part of the stadium collapses or something) especially duringa game where lives could be in danger, its all on your head. i think maybe the company itself should be investigated, its too big of a project to put it in the hands of someone whos not going to do it correctly.

basically....what theFranchise just said xD
