Hi Guys,
For my 30th my wife is taking me to baltimore for a week and so I can see a ravens game next season, could someone tell me anay good hotels in baltimore that dont cost and arm and a leg and how much tickets are to get into the statdium. The reason am asking is that I trust the local ravens fans better than any comparison site on the internt

Trying be responsive and not sound sarcastic .... there have been many threads in this forum and the Ravens Fans Unite forum which had lengthy discussions about downtown and suburban hotels. These have gotten into discussions about trade-offs of price, safety, proximity. This message board has an "search function" - I pulled up 42 threads using "hotels" many of these I recognized as good discussions.

Personal opinion: if hotel quality and proximity to the stadium are paramount and price is not as important, stay at the new Convention Center Hilton, across Camden Street from the baseball stadium. Added bonus is that opposing teams often stay there. If you want to stay closer to Baltimore's more lively entertainment areas, try:

the Hyatt on Light Street across from Harborplace

the Renaissance on Pratt Street

the The Pier 5 Hotel on the waterfront in the Inner Harbor

the Marriott on President Street near Little Italy

the Admiral Fell Inn in the heart of historic Fells Point
Suburban hotels are cheaper. There are about 20 hotels in the BWI airport hotel district, with airport shuttles to Light Rail stations for cheap access directly to the stadium.

Ticket prices are at this link. Single game tickets are in very high demand. A limited number of tickets go on sale to the public each summer via Ticketmaster -- all those sell out within a few minutes to few hours. Otherwise, go to NFL Ticket Exchange or other resale sites.
