He's a real nice guy. Real personal and friendly. He is definitely a better linebacker than McClain but Bart's biggest problem was wearing his emotion (pissed offness) on his sleeve.

One Ravens advantage, and recently on display against KC is our amount of depth talent.

As was mentioed earlier in the season, this was problematic with not knowing which skills to leverage at any given time.

The Coaching staff and team captain, from Harboraugh to Ray Lewis has improved their communications strategy, showing they are more cohesive unit. Now, the Ravens are firing on all cylinders, and accessing its skills wisely to produce wins.
Th Ravens, in addition, make changes of play with a smooth transition, and greater resilience.

One of the keys to victory will depend clearly on Blocking. They may change up or go permanent on a 4:3 line-up.

Fundamentally, we must be aware of their game plan, while playing to our strengths.
I was proud the Ravens committed few holding, etc. penalties last week. Keep it up.

I just realized Jamal Lewis' TD run (like 10 seconds in) is almost identical to WIllis McGahee's TD run in week 4 this year. Scary.

Ok so the last 2 games of the season, you smashed on the Panthers (Clausen? seriously...) and the Browns (got the big lead and made them one dimensional). So I'm supposed to believe that the o-line is playing that much better because of those 2 games? I know our o-line isn't the best but I'd still take it over the Steelers. And that is the key to this game...the o-line in both run blocking and to a greater extent pass blocking.

I was bummed it didn't go all the way back to 1996. I cannot find a clip of the Kordell Stewart to Bobby Shaw 92 yard TD catch/run in B-more anywhere. That's at about the point (I think) when this rivalry was just beginning to grow. No where near what it is now, but just starting.

While I read it like that at first as well I don't think the two statements were meant to go together. The TD he speaks of took place in the 2001 game in Baltimore. When I realized that, I figured he just meant because we were not division rivals when we first joined the league.

I don't think I've ever been more nervous about a single game before. It's a combination of knowing we have what it takes to win, but also knowing that it's the playmaking Steelers and we have to play the perfect game to pull this one out.

While we've seen Ike Taylor get victimized by Ravens WRs in the past, I read on Rotoworld that he played some amazing football down the stretch. Still, I'm confident the Ravens will be able to exploit him, McFadden and Clark, assuming the o-line holds up in pass protection.

Man for man, our secondary is better than that of the Ravens. And if you're a stat guy (or girl) the number will show it too. Ike has been fantastic. McFadden has improved. Gay, well, he's great when he's blitzing. lol
