Nows as good a time as ever to beat them, every game it comes down to one play, a broken tackle, a tipped pass, a broken coverage, a broken protection and we seem to be on the wrong side of that one play that dictates the game even when we have the ball. Nows as good a time as any to correct that mistake, make that tackle, block that blitz, get separation against the Steelers.

We're one Heap and one McClain stronger this time around. I don't know who the Steelers will have for this game that they didn't have last time (if anyone) but I'm sure we'll do fine.

The thing that worries me outside of the Steelers as a team and home field advantage, is that apparently Ngata is pretty banged up, and has a lot of stiffness and soreness in his leg.
We will need Ngata to have a big game against the Steelers like he usually does.
Other than that, I'm confident in our players right now.
Not that I've been in the locker room but it sounds like there is a special feeling going through it, and as a contrast, the Steelers have been sitting around while we've been going to war together.
I'll put it this way, I like our teams confidence right now.

After the last game, can't say that I am....

Why cuz of one troy play that turned that game? If we picked up that blitz and got a couple first downs in that drive, thats a W

I have to say I'm a lot more confident then I have been in the past couple of years! Steelers have yet to roll over us. It sounds and feels like our guys on ON a roll. I think Heap is a game changer against them.

Same here. I feel better about this matchup against the Steelers than I have in years.

We are rolling in on a 5 game win streak w/ 10 turnovers in the last two games. We have some 'hotness' going on.

I'm hyped about this game, but I'm not scared or nervous at all. That's not to say that I can honestly say 100% our Ravens will come out on top, but I, myself, am not afraid of what happens this weekend. Hear me out.

I'm not afraid of the trash-talk that'll hound me if the Ravens lose. I'm not afraid of the punch in the stomach that the loss will feel like. I'm not afraid of the anguish of having to watch another team's glory as the Ravens are sitting at home. I'm not afraid. Why? Because we've been there, done that. We know the doom-and-gloom all too well. We know that the sky won't fall and our world doesn't end if we lose. We know that our love for the team doesn't live and die by this weekend's outcome.

However, I'm also not afraid to taste victory. I'm not afraid of the thought of the Ravens going to the Super Bowl. I'm not afraid of the elation and tears that would follow a championship -- a feeling that I've never felt before as a fan of any team. I'm not afraid to feel the glow of a Lombardi Trophy.

With the stakes so high, I'm not afraid of any emotion from whichever outcome we may face. This Saturday, while significant, is no different than any other Saturday we've ever seen. We will be on an emotional roller coaster at 4:30pm ET for three hours, and then come down from it days later. As a fan, I have never been more ready for a game. I have played out every scenario in my head, and I feel as if Saturday is destiny. Take that how you will.

I'm not confident but like Franny said, I'm not nervous either. The Ravens can obviously play with the Steelers and I have no reason to doubt they can win Saturday.

100% Confident we will win!!! We've beaten them at home once already this season, why can't we do it again? The pressure's on them, because they know we're playing for SO MUCH MORE than they are!

I get the sentiment, but that last statement isn't 100% true; the Steelers have the same stakes as the Ravens. The only reason there's more pressure on them is because they're playing at home, they are favored by Vegas odds, and they've had the Ravens' number, both in games played in Pittsburgh and when Ben Roethlisberger is under center. Otherwise, pressure aside, the Steelers have as much to lose as the Ravens do since a loss has the losing team sitting at home the following weekend after a promising season.

Big Ben didn't really do much last game. Their defense won them that game and a missed tackle from Landry. But yeah, normally it is Big Ben winning them games when we face eachother.

Its going to be ugly, hard hitting, painful, dirty football ( dirty as in dirt, not dishonest)

Past batch of losses to pitt have been very very close.\
As a fan I expect a very high stress level, lots of cussing, an upset stomach, and out of control blood pressure. If this game is not a nail biter, I will be amazed.

I have no reason what so ever to doubt we CAN win this game.

Defensively limit Ward and Wallace and contain Mendenhall. Bring pressure and get sacks on Roethlisberger. The steelers do very well is masking their blitzes. Our offensive line and Joe have to recognise and pick these up especially Polamalu. If we do these things we are in good shape.

I'm actually not worried about Ward at all. Carr has shut him down the past two games and I don't see that changing.

Momentum is on our side having won 5 straight games and not having extra weeks off, we are going to be sharp and ready to face a familiar foe....I think this is our year to knock out the Steelers.

BELIEVE!!!

You know, about 6 weeks ago I said that I cant see this team going all the way. Cam seemed to be stuck in third gear all season, the defense was up and down, our run game refused to get moving, we just couldnt seem to put it all together. We have looked like a very, very good team all year, but not great. But I have regained a ton of faith in this defense over the past six weeks. While the offense is still sputtering along, relying nearly solely on Flacco for production, the defense has finally gone back to its old ball attacking ways. Our front seven is no longer an impenetrable fortress, and our secondary is still susceptible to elite QBs, but this is a classic case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. And thats all this team needs in order to achieve greatness -- defense has to continue playing the way they are capable of, and OL ... Just do your best to keep Flacco healthy.I'm a believer again. The super bowl is our destiny. Saturday is merely a pit stop ... But a very necessary one, because no other team in the league keeps us sharper than PIT does. We'll need that to keep us playing the way we have been playing.

Yeah- I'm confident that either Harbs or some other higher up isn't putting up with any more crappy camcalls. Its about time we started to sustain drives! And yes, the squeelers better be skurred!

I have a good feeling about this game. Unlike 2 years ago where I didn't in our last playoff encounter with the Steelers. This one feels a lot different. This time I have hope instead of doubt...

Same here. I feel good about this one for once. Plus unlike the AFCCG we played against them, we are 100% healthy for once. That last time we played them we didn't have a bye week that year. Our players were dead dog tired and we still made it a game. We also had a NFL-high (I think) players on IR.

We are in much better shape than last time we met.
