Tom Brady Doesnt Make Players Better?

8 posts in this topic

I suppose I see his point, but to say Tom Brady doesn't make players around him better is ridiculous... Randy Moss anyone?

He actually did have a comparable season in Minnesota. Not as good in touchdowns, but better in yards and catches.

Also this guy doesn't know a whole lot about basketball. His little Jason Kidd - Rajon Rondo analogy was pretty off base.

Although the argument is interesting, it's still relying a bit too much on numbers and draft status to determine the players' success outside of New England.

In my eyes, the success of these players shouldn't be measured with their own personal success outside of New England, but rather, measured against the success of their peers around the league.

And let's not forget the all-important measure of success: Wins vs. Losses.

Besides, there's other intangibles involved that you can't definitely measure.

What Dave said. The guy also posted those numbers.

Correct, however I am referring to Randy Moss in Oakland vs. Randy Moss last year and Tom Brady has almost everything to do with that

I can see where he's coming from but, ugh, he's so condescending. And I think the Stallworth thing is off because Stallworth was competing with the likes of Welker and Moss for TDs and yards last year.

I'll only agree with the Stallworth point to an extent.

Although the reality MAY (keyphrase: MAY) be that Stallworth is talented, we as Ravens fans should HOPE that he's really no better than a second-string talent now that he's in Cleveland.

Just throwing that out there. ;)
