my minimum for feeling like this season was good is winning this game

now i would love for them to win the superbowl....but id be happy if we won this game

I refuse to lose to the Pats in the post season. I would gladly trade two losses to PIT in the regular season for a stomping of NE in the playoffs.

But me personally, anything less than a SB is a failure. This team is just too talented to settle for anything less.

I'm the same way. If we can't win it all, may as well keep it in the family. It brings much deserved respect to our division, and more importantly to me, our rivalry when one of or both our teams succeed.

Time for revenge, we should be hosting this game were it not for that late-game calamity at the end of the season.

Today was a great sign. Both sides of the ball did a great job; and I think most people will be pleased to be our offence move the ball well. We will beat Pittsburgh if we don't let our foot off the gas like we did during that gut-wrenching regular season loss.

False! I am glad the Jets won I feel that either the steelers or Ravens will be making the trip to the SB and I would rather get it out of the way earlier . Either way it will be a typical raven vs steeler game and will be a lot of fun for us all to watch(and nerve wracking im sure).

Oh yea I am also picking the Jets to upset the Pats and come to B-more for the AFC championship!

I'm ready now. Every time the NFL Schedule is released the first two things I always circle is the 2 Ravens/Steelers games. Saturday is no exception, I will be pumped all week waiting for this game, and on Saturday I'll have even more butterflies in me as the game gets closer.

I was going to mention the Ravens inability to show up in pressure games/situations...but I'll let the record speak for itself.

It comes down to the passing game. Can Joe not hold on to the ball too long and actually throw it in a timely manner? Will one of our defenders attempt a lateral thus fumbling a crucial turnover? Will Cam revert back to making the most ridiculous play calls? Will the run d show up, unlike today? History has shown that minus the Pats game last year, the Ravens choke in pressure games/situations. I can't wait for Saturday, but I am keeping my hopes very low for a reason. The crushing emotional blows are too much.

Not really sure what this "same thing" is. Do you mean as in luck? Ravens beating the Giants in XXXV wasn't luck (it was demolition) and the Giants beating the Patsies was pure luck (THE helmet catch otherwise game over). I'm not discounting luck as it's an important element in any sport.

Pretty sure he was talking about the city bashing thing, either way this will be an all out war and the game of the playoffs this year! Obvisouly I hope we win but you guys are always tough! I can't wait for this one as there are some pretty big Steelers bars out here in AZ, and I love going to opposing teams bars for games .
