Flacco Gets Sacked And Hit Alot But Keeps On Going.

18 posts in this topic

I know that everyone saw that hit on Flacco. Helmet to helmet should result to $25K or so. I don't think that it's right to hit the QB in the slide. Still, it seems that Flacco is tough because he gets sacked, hit, hurried, and still runs the ball. Who thinks that our QB should get credit for hanging in there?

Ha, Chiefs players trying to take off Heap's helmet and Flacco stands tall in the pocket. That's what I'm talking about. Goodbye Chiefs fans, best of luck next year, now you can leave the boards! Off to Pitt

PS, Flacco still suck?

It's about time we start calling Flacco a 'tough kid'. He gets hits but he never gets shaken up. He just keeps coming and coming. Flacco is one tough QB. Good guy to have in the AFC North.

Flacco started shaky but this is good for his confidence. Him and Boldin started to get on the same page. And my boy Heap is singing "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta" all day every day

Flacco is one tough guy! He is huge, doesn't look like too much can hurt him. He can definitely take a hit and keep on going!

Sacks are far better than a turnover or saucing up a cupcake interception. I would rather see Joe take the sacks instead of handing out the turnovers.

This year, Joe is the man!
I think he is playing pretty great, considering everything.
Just think when he will actually call his own game!
He will only get better.

Expect more no calls next week against the Steelers.

You mean like when Ben got his nose broken? Or when Heath Miller received a cheap hit by McClain. I don't think there's much room for you to complain if there are no calls this game.

As much as it was a brutal hit, I doubt there was intent from McClain. Don't forget Miller was already falling to the ground when McClain flew into an area which would have been his chest had he been on his feet.

I don't know if he was necessarily complaining. Both sides have had their fair share of bad no-calls in this series throughout the years, like the 2 you mentioned above. I think if you're a ref going into this game you kind of have to be ready to call it loosely. If you try to call a tight game you're going to be blowing the whistle on every other play, that's not to say they should let anything get out of hand, but I think you know what I mean.

Didn't say our guys did or didn't deserve those no calls. Just said don't expect Flacco to get any flags going his way next week at Pittsburgh.

Hey, did you forget it was me? I was merely busting Alexir's chops per normal procedure. lol

We both know our two QB's can forget an ref protection...in fact, pretty much both teams players altogether.
