A Moment Of Reflection On The Regular Season

6 posts in this topic

To begin, I didn't start this thread to discuss individual players or coaches, their achievements or lack there of. Please leave that for the multitude of existing threads where it is already being discussed.

My intentions lay with the organization as a whole, the team in general and the success they have had this regular season.

First, I would like to congratulate the organization and the team on their accomplishments thus far and offer my thanks for another entertaining and exciting season.

To end the regular season playing .750 ball, tied with the 2nd best record in the AFC and 3rd best record in the NFL, along with a 3rd consecutive playoff berth is absolutely awesome. There are few other places a fan, as myself, can relish on the accomplishments of their team and the magnitude of pride your success has brought me. I tip my hat to you. Thank You!

On the eve of your playoff journey as you embark on the road into hostile territories, know that you have the support of your fans and our best wishes for continued success and injury free play. In addition, as you navigate the playoff schedule, whatever the outcome may be, in the hearts of your fans you are already champions!

I agree with your sentiments, our neighbors are unfoutunately Giants fans, and we could be in that situation, a winning team with a good QB, rb's, and defense, yet fail to make the playoffs.

This year, our Ravens games certainly have not been boring. I can only hope that we learned what not to do in the playoffs, as other teams are game planning the hell out of us now.

My message to the players is just GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT! an HAVE EACH OTHERS BACK, focus and execute and we'll be fine!

Great post.

We sometimes get so caught up in the Xs and Os and the phases of the game that are not working, that we fail to recognize just how lucky we are to be fans of a truly great organization.

Hats off to Steve Biscotti and all involved with the Ravens, one of the classiest and most successful Teams in the NFL.

How much do we LOVE this team???
They are the best! When you look at other franchises, with bad owners we are really lucky. In our own backyard, our O's have had bad ownership for years, I would love to see them get back to the old glory days, but back to football , take a look at the Redskins. So many teams cannot "get it together".
I realize nothing is perfect, but at least we have an awesome bunch to root for EVERY weekend!!
Love the Ravens - all of them!!!!
